Sarah and Sofia have more information that Remy doesn't want to know.

Remy sat at his desk, watching the bad news flood in. Not only did every turn seem to bring up some new and ugly part of Belladonna's plan, but he'd just gotten word from Arlen. The Thieves Guild was going back to New Orleans. No matter what, they had decided to stake their existance on one last chance to stop the Assassins. Didn't matter that they had as much chance of success as Marie-Ange did to run the 50 meter in the next minute. He sighed and tossed his pen down, leaning back into his chair as the door opened.

Sarah. Why did he know that her news wasn't going to be good?

"Don't fucking give me that look, Remy. I've got information you don't have." Sarah didn't bother to sit, just hovered in the doorway with her bony arms crossed over her chest. There was more bone than usual today, although she didn't look more agitated than normal. "According to a very helpful supervising manager, there was a shipment of demolition charges sent to New Orleans just last week."

"Buying demolitions from an international drilling company. Merde." Remy reached for the coffee pot behind his desk and poured three cups. "Come in. Better den having Sofia hovering behind you."

He waved them in, sliding over the cups and taking a sip from his. "Dese demolitions. Too much to hope dat dey small ones used for shaping or something?"

"Ha." Sarah dropped into one of the uncomfortable office chairs,
leaving the coffee untouched. Some things, it seems, never change.
"No, it looks like they're interested in bringing down entire
buildings. The typical."

"Makes sense. Dey got to be going for de levees. Dey might hold against dat level of hurricane. Blow a couple holes and de force itself will take care of dem." Remy sighed and rubbed his eyes. "Why construction materials though? Not like Belladonna couldn't get her hands on a ton of semtex if she wanted. Why risk a possible paper trail through a legitimate source?"

Having taken the offered coffee like a desert to water, Sofia's eyes were closed when she answered, enjoying the sensation of caffiene sliding down her pipes and into her bloodstream. "Because a paper trail is exactly what she wants." She took another sip, still leaning against a bookcase. "Going legal makes it look like an official, government act. Something that will get covered up without her having to lift a hand. At worst, it can be blamed on random theft, circumstance, but never something as calculated as I'm sure her plan is."

Remy looked resigned as he leaned back in his chair. "Dat sounds like 'donna. Making double sure dat something breaks to help her. Alright, dat's good work, both of you. I appreciate it. Now to tell everyone dat hell is coming for de city."
