After the evening's festivities, Ororo drags Kurt out for more fun.

Ororo was pleased. Her 'costume' had turned out to be quite a success - students and staff alike had boggled at her transformation and then admired her hair, and though she was still feeling a bit off-center she didn't regret the choice at all. The punk clothing that Amanda had lent her was quite comfortable, actually, and she almost regretted finally leaving her office and heading back to her suite to change.

"You seem to have made quite an impression downstairs", came a soft-accented voice from further down the hall, where Kurt was standing in his own doorway smiling at her. "Every other conversation was about it as I came through."

Approaching the spot where Kurt was standing, Ororo gave a bashful grin. Her gel-stiffened hair didn't budge as she shook her head ruefully. "I am sure once the sugar rush wears off they will find something else to talk about. Though knowing our students, that may take a few days..."

"Oh, you are probably quite right. But for tonight, at least, you are the hot topic." If he'd known anything at all about American fashion, that might have been a pun. Perhaps it was an unconscious one.

Intentional or not, it made her grin. "Well, with the stellar example set by your own hair-dyeing adventures I thought I might give it a try myself. And what better occasion than Halloween? Even if it is a month late."

"Do not forget, this is the official Halloween. So it is declared, so shall it be." He grinned back. "You are going to keep the hairstyle for a time, then?"

"I have little choice but to. Though I doubt I will gel it every day - I used nearly half a bottle on this alone!" she declared, gesturing to the fan of white hair on her head. "I may go bankrupt if I try to keep that up."

"Not to mention the effort", was the light response. "And you do still have to attend meetings, I think?" He was not going to laugh.

"I think," Ororo said in a 'confidential' tone of voice, leaning in towards Kurt a little, "I may have to invest in a few more scarves. Or borrow an image inducer should Val Cooper show up unexpectedly."

Kurt chuckled. "You are always welcome to borrow mine. Though, of course, it may need a little reprogramming first..."

"Just a little," the mohawked woman agreed, laughing. "But I thank you for the offer all the same. Have you enjoyed your evening?"

"Very much so", he said with a broad grin. "We should have parties in the mansion more often."

"True... it is almost a shame the evening has to end so early." Ororo gave Kurt a considering look for a moment, reaching up to smooth her fingers across the bare side of her head absently. "Of course, it doesn't have to. We are all dressed up... what do you say we find somewhere to go?"

He tilted his head at her, visibly intrigued. "Did you have anything particular in mind?"

"No - that's part of the fun," she replied with a grin.

"To just go out and... find somewhere." Kurt considered this, then smiled slowly. "I can see no good reason not to, once I find someone to watch the puppy."

"Wonderful. I shall go touch-up the pound of eyeliner I have applied, and meet you at your suite in a few minutes?" Ororo suggested.

"I will be ready", he promised.

"For rock and roll?"
