Following these adventures in dreamsharing, Nathan comes across Amanda in the pool, and they talk. The topic of Illyana comes up and Amanda has a wiggins, but manages to be mature enough to deal with the idea of sharing 'her' Nate. Set before this email, otherwise there would have been more arse-kicking and less cute.

Madelyn is making good her promise to get out and about more, and runs into Jubilee with a new acquisition. It turns out to be a perfect day for kite flying.

Focusing on other people is a tried-and-true way of self-distraction. Practicing with Angelo, Nathan convinces him to try and put his powers to use, just as an experiment.

Later, while out for his run, Nathan catches a falling Guthrie. He and Sam talk a little about Sam's continuing uncertainty when it comes to what he's doing with his life, and Nathan recruits him for Moira's training sessions.
