Jamie and the Dwarves, Part 2

Just one scene tonight; am falling slightly behind, damn my evening job. A week or so after he arrives, Jamie is healed up enough to hobble down to the forge for a chat with King Gunnar that starts lighthearted but quickly gets serious, and gives Jamie more to think about than the old dwarf intended.

Doug in Asgard, part 2

The first appearance of Doug Ramsey, Bardic Skald. "Aron" does a decent job, and Jorundr grudgingly gives Hugaldr a bigger room and the smaller one to Doug. Then things start to go downhill when Doug notices a burly warrior trying to force himself on one of the bar wenches. Insults are traded, Doug puts the big guy in an armbar, and a bar brawl ensues.

( I _said_ you shouldn't do that, neighbor. )

After the brawl, Hugaldr bawls out Doug and Arnbjorn, and Rannveig is all gooey and in love.

( Fine. I give up. And when you poor idiots get yourselves killed, I'll speak your funeral and tell everyone how very brave you were and gloss over the stupid part. )

ASGARD: Manuel, Day One

Manuel watches the softball game, gets transported to Asgard along with everyone else. He nearly freezes to death, before being rescued by Frost Giants and taken before their Lord and Master.

Thursday afternoon, Kylun and Clarice

Clarice happens upon Kylun, meditating in the gym; they talk about the current crisis, which because it's Clarice segues into talk about swords. She proceeds to be rude, but not unforgivably so, and is then disappointed, but not completely.

What Happens: We meet Jarrod for the first time and Jubilee finds herself in an unfamiliar forest.
