Cecilia and Joanne Madrox

Sunday afternoon, before she goes to see Scott, Cecilia investigates the smell of fresh pizza in the kitchen, and meets Jamie's mother as a result. The two hit it off, and Cecilia volunteers to keep the other woman distracted until Jamie and the others get back so she doesn't go utterly insane.

( You know, everybody always says having children will change your life. Nobody ever mentioned Asgard, though. )

Scott and Alex, Sunday morning

After his evening at Harry's with Paul, Scott wakes up to find Alex keeping him company. Alex is more or less completely unbothered (although concerned) by Scott's attempt to drown his sorrows, which makes his big brother feel considerably better. Even if it doesn't do much for the hangover.

Jamie and the Dwarves, Part 4

A few weeks after meeting Fyrlaf, Jamie is working in the forge when a messenger arrives with important news, and Gunnar has some presents.

And the next morning, Jamie's finishing up his packing when Disa stops by for one last gift, and Jamie completely misses the point.

( Way to use the f-word, genius. )

And, finally, Jamie's round of reunions begins, when he arrives at the clan-hold of Dvalin and lures Miles out of hiding. The dwarves fall all over themselves to apologize.

( He ain't heavy. For one thing, he's really short. )

Sunday afternoon, after meeting Jamie's mother, Cecilia goes to talk to Scott about Haroun's slip of the tongue. The words 'government-sanctioned' do a lot to quell one's ire, and it ends up going remarkably well.

Shopping for supplies, Jamie and Miles see a -very- familiar redhead. Miles does a mad dash through the crowd, and does his very best impression of a barnacle on Angie's knees.

( I know you people from somewhere, don't I? Amazing who you run into when you're shopping. )

In true Jamie Madrox fashion, he does his level best to cheer up Marie-Ange, who isn't in the good mental place, thanks to Sif's 'motivations' from earlier.

( I think in my coma dreams, my friends do not have badgers attached to their jaws. )

Requiem for a Dream---Scott and Betsy

Asgard: Finding Doug

Jorundr's meadhall. Jamie, Miles, Shiro, and Marie-Ange show up in the meadhall where Doug lives, guided by the raven. Doug recognizes them and has a little romantic surprise for Marie-Ange. Afterward, he sits and swaps snark with Jamie about how sill their beards look, and the group decides on their next course of action. Warning: three-hankie alert.

As the group heads off to bed, Marie-Ange comes along with Doug to his room to spend the night with him. She has a little bit of a breakdown, Doug is reassuring, and a decision is made. Warning: some nudity and sexual situations.

The morning after, Doug and Angie wake up together and realize it wasn't a dream. There is more gooshy romance, and then Doug comes down to say goodbye to the friends he's made during his time in Asgard. Pretty much everyone attempts to cover up emotion in one way or another. Hugaldr has a surprise for Doug.

[Paul, Nathan] Not bad for a couple old men.

Paul and Nathan have some playtime in the Danger Room.  Nate stretches his TK, Paul realizes that he's been avoiding working in tight spaces a little too long.  They make a bit of a mess and call it a day - or Paul does - before Nate keels over.  They end up covered in metal glitter.  You really can't leave them alone for a minute.

Nathan and Shinobi, Sunday evening

Immediately after his session with Paul in the Danger Room, Nathan runs into Shinobi in the locker room. He takes the opportunity to get Shinobi's opinion and advice on yesterday's tactical blunder with Manuel's father. The two of them agree that yes, it could potentially be a very bad one.
