Paige comes down to Sarah's room to tell her something. Then they are silly. I'm sure Shinobi is very sad that he doesn't have video cameras in the room.

On Wednesday afternoon, on the looooooong flight from New York City to Tokyo, in an effort to make Alex stop acting like a little kid on a sugar high, Shiro relates the story of Asgard to Alex and Mariko. Mariko discovers that her cousin is not the boy he used to be, which is actually a pleasant surprise.

( As dangerous and frightening as it was at times, I cannot deny the rush it gave me. I developed considerable mastery over my powers in Asgard, and the chance to use them without holding back felt good. )

On Thursday just a couple of hours after landing in Tokyo, Shiro begins observing the Buddhist festival of Obon. He takes Alex to visit his parents' graves and the two have a discussion about "could be's".

( There are a lot of things that would not have happened if my parents had not died. Life would be very different. )

And later that night, Alex has jetlag and can't sleep, so he does what everyone does when they have insomnia: stuff himself. Shiro's little sister Leyu joins him, and they make plans to drag Shiro around Tokyo. It's all very cute.

( Leyu covered her mouth with her hands to stop a gasp from escaping. Nii-san's friend was in the kitchen too. Nii-san's really cute friend, she amended. )

Nathan, finishing up in the Danger Room, has a rather 'creative' encounter with Paige. Afterwards, they talk - or rather, he babbles a little (having aggravated his sprained brain) and she listens, and makes a surprising offer.

Sarah, Hank, and Peanut Butter on White

Occuring just after Alison's Email (iJournal isn't letting me backdate today), Hank goes looking for Sarah, who wasn't hard to find. Wonder of wonders, he coaxes her away from the Blaire residence and boys within for some few minutes, and they talk briefly about assorted sundry recent events in a wholly roundabout manner. Peanut butter is put on bread, and virgin strawberry jam jars find deflowering, which isn't half as entertaining as it sounds.
