Set about two seconds after this post, Leyu rushes down to the medlab to speak with her brother. There's lots of shouting and insulting, so Shiro finally tells his sister everything.

( I thought . . . I thought that if I could just get rid of my powers, then everything would become okay. Harada would lose interest, and so would anyone else. Then you and I could be safe. )

Madelyn, Jubilee - Backdated to August 29th

Nathan and Paul, Sunday morning

Paul wakes up to find Nathan sitting by his bed reading. Nathan shares the good news about Shiro, they talk about assumptions, pointy things, and Harry Potter, and how devastatingly attractive they both are. Then the fireworks start upstairs, and Paul has to restrain Nate from running off like an idiot to get in the middle of it.

( Making the student body, as aesthetically pleasing as some of it may be, drool does me no good at all. Honestly, it's a bit of a pain. )

What Happens: Amanda while heading toward the kitchen in search of food, runs into Jubilee. A brief discussion is held, name calling is exchanged and then all hell breaks lose when the girls decide the best way to solve things is a huge, screaming fight.

Moira and Paige

Moira decides that enough is enough and heads out but decides that Paige is overdue for a good kidnapping. They take Scott's car (with, *gasp*, permission!) and somehow wind up at the Toy Store. This probably does not bode well for the rest of the Mansion.

Moira catches Paul trying to walk around on his own and settles him back down.  They talk about Nate and Moira discovers that Paul doesn't take too well to being mothered.  It goes well, though, and they're very cute together.

Paul, in the grip of a lot of painkillers and between healing phases, is perky enough to play a hand of gin with the big fuzzball and the little fuzzball.  Blue and fuzzy is good, brown and fuzzy is good, but we find out that grey and fuzzy - the colour and texture of lost memories - is not.  Hank gets to hide out from the chaos and have some grownup conversation.  They decide mutually not to let anyone unnecessary visit Paul as he's tipping over from being just unfortunate to look at to downright disturbing.  Set around midday.  Paul's dropping in and out of being alert is typical for someone with a blood-cell production disorder.

Angelo and Jubilee

Set *before* the Angie-Jubilee log that just went up. Angelo goes to visit Jubilee in the medlab, sets her straight on a few things, and inadvertently (and without knowing it) puts the idea in her head to leave.

( Depends on who you ask, I guess. Me, it was about getting attacked for no damn good reason by Amanda and defending myself. )

Scott and Shinobi, Sunday evening

Nathan and Moira, Sunday night

When Moira arrives back in their suite, Nathan wakes up to discover that the nap he was going to take after his visit with Paul that morning turned into him sleeping the day away. He and Moira talk a little bit about the girls and Manuel, and how his head is feeling tonight. Then Nathan decides they have better things they could be doing with their time.
