Early Wednesday morning, Alison finds Jay in the music room writing the song he started with Terry a while ago. She performs it for him so he can listen to it as a spectator, and he gets all choked up when it conjures certain memories. It's all very cute and sad and makes you just want to hug the little Guthrie.

( S'just embarrassin'. Gettin' all emotional like this over some music. How can Ah ever expect to perform if Ah get all choked up over something' so silly? )

Wanda goes for a run since she has nothing better to do but when Cain startles her she ends up in the lake. More weirdness between them but they actually have a civil conversation.

Wednesday, late evening. Alison & Kurt go out on their monthly dance outing, and indulge in a little bit of theatrics. That's what happens when two showbiz people decide to have fun.

Betsy and Scott, Wednesday night

Scott comes back from a late and restless ride on his bike to find Betsy and a bottle of gin in his suite. They revel in their mutual dysfunctionality for a bit, but then the conversation turns productive and Betsy tries a successful experiment.

Alison and Wanda

After the day's weirdness, Wanda finds Alison at her door. Alison is cheerful and yet rather firm on Wanda not hurting Cain's feelings and Wanda protests that it's not like that. They go on to ways of dumping Remy in the lake and then it all goes downhill from there. Talk about a gigglefit. Also, very late after Alison gets back from her dancing with Kurt.
