Whiteout - Saving The Scrolls (Nathan and Marie)

It turns out that it's not just people who need evacuating in Kansas City. A traveling exhibition of the Dead Sea Scrolls is in town, and Nathan and Marie are sent to retrieve them. Unfortunately, there are a group of nuns who have other ideas.

( I'm surprised we're not being accompanied by hysterical curators. )

Whiteout: Marie and Kyle

Marie and Kyle head over to a nearby animal shelter to help with an evacuation. Mild wackiness ensues and someone makes a new friend.

( If you promise never, ever to tell anyone. Because, seriously, last thing I need is Marius and Julio breaking into Hot For Teacher or something in the middle of lunch. )

Pietro and Nathan: Astral Cartography

Pietro comes up with an idea for how to make searching for stranded people more efficient, and gets Nathan to go along with it. Then he goes out and saves a homeless guy, because piggy-back rides are for everyone.

Pietro and Crystal - Take a Break

While taking a break from giving piggy-back rides to homeless guys, Pietro finds Crystal clearing snow and offers to help.

Dani and Laurie chat on a rest break towards the end of the emergency. Dani tries to explain the mentality of some of the people they are trying to help. It doesn't quite work, but it doesn't not work either.

( The snow and ice will melt, power will be restored and life will go back to normal. )
