I thought I'd let you know I'd be bringing my guns back with me when I return from DC. I'll be gone for a day or so next week, and when I return I'm planning to bring guns.

Just letting you know before the alarms go off, and people start thinking I'm a one-man invasion team.

We don't currently have an alarm system that is triggered for weapons. But considering events of the past year, it might be worth looking into.

Do you have any suggestions, or should I speak with Pete?

The only thing I ask is that they are kept locked. I know many of our kids could get in even through a locked box, but better safe than sorry.

Pete's probably your man, but since he's managed to live here for months without discovering the lack of weapon detectors... If Pete's too busy, I'll damn well set it up myself.

This is a *school*, first and foremost, Jake. The best security systems we have here are on the sub-basements, where the students rarely go. I know that many public schools have metal detectors, but when the students are often more dangerous than guns, it wasn't cause for concern for us.

After the original attack, more stringent security methods should have been taken, yes. However, we were busy with returning to the school, putting it back in working order, and handling the suddenly large influx of new students, suddenly revealed to the world as mutants.

However, since it has become fashionable to perform an assault on the school by highly trained men carrying guns, it will be moved up on the priority list.
