I realize that occasionally my manner of speaking may interfere with my listeners' comprehension, Amanda, but I must confess to bafflement over how you managed to construe "Yes, you may attempt to heal Angelo with your magic" out of "No, you may not attempt to heal Angelo with your magic until I've satisfied myself regarding its parameters and your competence." I am, in fact, still awaiting a return phone call from Ms. Wisdom on that very matter . . . and yet, somehow, Angelo has found himself the beneficiary of a medical miracle.

The results speak for themselves, and I am hardly going to complain that Angelo is as greatly recovered as he seems to be. However, since you apparently found my directions unclear the first time I gave them, consider yourself invited to my office, tomorrow immediately after class, so that we may correct the problem. A RSVP is not necessary, as I will be personally ensuring your attendance should you be late.

Please bring a notebook and pen. I find the process of note-taking to have a salutary effect on the attention span.
