Yet another short little thing . . .
Jan. 30th, 2004 11:35 amShiro has been feeling sick since the previous night, when he read about Minako. It would be one thing if she'd been murdered in a crossfire or a robbery attempt or some such. But she was mutilated and killed by Shiro's own cousin, the man he respected more than anyone else in the entire world. How could O-Harada-sama murder an innocent girl? What could she have possibly done to incur such wrath?
His thoughts are interrupted as a window pops up on his laptop, informing him of an e-mail. It's from Keniuchio. Shiro is well aware that his cousin knows much more about him than he lets on, so he figures that Keniuchio wishes to explain what happened before Shiro even asks. He must have had a good reason. Keniuchio is not a violence-monger.

Shiro-kun,
Piotr Rasputin lives down the hall from you. My sons wish to meet him and his sister. You will arrange this meeting for Sunday afternoon. Do not fail me.
-Harada
There is no way Shiro can refuse and live to tell the tale. He must obey his cousin. Reluctantly, he sits down to compose a response, hoping that he's not doing anything he will eventually regret.
