Terry gets home from class and immediately goes to find Adrienne. Dated Nov 20

Someone was knocking on her door. Again. How did people keep getting in? Or maybe it was Doug, back again.

Adrienne could barely hear the knocks from under her many many blankets, but her head was pounding now so even the softest noises seemed amplified.

"For the last time, I'm not letting you in, Ramsey!" she yelled from under the covers. "I'm not talking to you! I already told Amanda everything! Go away!"

"Adrienne, it's Terry. I...please let me in?" Terry looked over her shoulder at the open door to her room and considered again what the missing blankets might mean, especially with the stress and sickness all through Adrienne's shouts. Maybe she should go. Amanda knew, Adrienne had said. Terry could find out how to get a hold of her. Force her to tell her what happened. "I think you have my comforter and it was something of a gift."

"Terry?" After a brief struggle to find her way out of the blankets, Adrienne got herself free, keeping her own duvet wrapped around her gym clothed-form and padding on bare feet to open the door. "Sorry," she said sheepishly. "About the comforter. And yelling. Didn't know it was you." She returned to bed, leaving the door open, and pulled Terry's comforter out of the tangle of blankets, folding it hastily and putting it on the end of the bed before crawling back into her nest with the rest. "So, Summers told you what I told him?" she asked with a wry smirk, knowing why Terry had come.

Terry shook her head and followed Adrienne in, "I just got home. I saw your journal post while I was in school and... I couldn't get home until now, so I came straight here. Mr. Summers knows? I could...are you okay?" She felt a little scattered, her mind spinning in every direction since she'd first heard what had happened. She gathered the comforter back up, hugging it to her chest.

"Don't worry about me," Adrienne said with a weak grin, "I'm always okay." She pulled the blankets more tightly around herself. "Yes, Summers knows. Between Gibney and myself we made a somewhat coherent report. I think Kyle was making a more formal one when we were a little calmer- he probably has by now. And there's... there are other people working on finding Jay and the others, too." She didn't know how much Terry knew about the Trenchcoats, so she left it at that. "Jay... he fought, Terry," she said, hoping it would give her suitemate some comfort. "They threw him out of the car and he was hurt and bleeding but he tried to fight. He... his wings were found at the scene. I saw them ripped off him. He-he passed out then. But... they left him alone after that. I don't think they actually..." killed him. She knew Terry would understand from the tone of her voice what she couldn't say.

Terry's expression slid toward disturbed then all the way into horrified as Adrienne described what she'd seen. Her already pale skin drained to sheet white, her hands fisted into the comforter. "He's not dead," she said flatly. It was the only thing that she could think of. The only thing she could believe. "We're going to find them."

Her shoulders squared, spine straightened, drawing herself up like a woman recovering from a blow. Hurt, a little scared but determined. "Thank you, Adrienne. I can get the rest of it from Mr. Summers. Do you need anything?"

Adrienne shook her head. "I'll be alright. Go talk to Summers. The sooner the X-Men get organized and find where they are, the sooner you can go bring them home."

Terry nodded, "Okay. You know where to find me, if you need anything." She took a couple steps backwards, paused, then shrugged, "I'm sorry. That it had to be you."

"I'll just yell really loud," Adrienne teased. She sobered up at Terry's last statements, however, and shrugged. "No one was holding a gun to my head making me do it," she muttered. "It didn't have to be me. But I... I had to do it. You know."

"I know." Terry agreed and left, pulling the door closed behind her.
