After finding out about the incidents in Houston, Jean seeks out Crystal.
The cold chill of the winter air didn't bother Crystal at all. She knew it was cold, of course; her mutation didn't prevent her from feeling a variety of temperatures. Still, without even thinking about it, the air around her body changed to allow her to fly around in the winter in what most people would consider summer clothes. While her current outfit was not the version she had worn during her first year at Xavier's, it was not very different. Yellow was her color; it always had been, and she was sure it always would be. It was a bright, cheery color, and one that was not hard to spot shooting through the sky above the Xavier's campus.
Jean had known Crystal was flying about when she started 'looking' for the young woman, but once she got outside it turned out seeing her was just as easy as 'seeing' her. She shook her head ruefully at Crystal's outfit and pulled her gloves on more tightly before taking off after the girl, calling her name into the wind.
It wasn't long before Crystal noticed her new airborne companion. That was unusual. While some people tended to think that flight was one of the more prevalent types of powers, there were very few flyers at the mansion, and the telekinetic now sharing the sky with her wasn't one of the ones who tended to take to the skies on a regular basis. Crystal's flight path altered, slowing and shifting a bit, so that she moved closer to the non-evil redheaded doctor.
Jean sped up slightly, pushing a little harder to get into hearing range. "Crystal," she said, pulling up and floating in front of her. "I have a request. We... There's been an incident in Houston. Some sort of bio-agent, possibly mutant in origin, got lose, or was released. We're going down to try and help, but I'm a little worried. Would you be willing to come? You could be very useful."
Crystal nodded. Yes, her powers could be useful in this situation "When do we leave?"
