Still frustrated from her session with Logan, Cammie takes it out on a punching bag and then talks it over with Kurt.

Cammie was beating on a bag in the gym. Her expression wasn’t a happy one, and with each punch she rambled a bit. “Stupid… not playing tag… show his ass…” she grumbled as she kept beating on the bag. There was something to be said for violence related therapy. For Cammie hitting things was better than talking for her.

Because there were things she had a hard time talking about.

Apparently what she was going to do to Logan wasn’t one of them. “Fuckin’ stupid metal bones,” she rambled.

"Ah", came a dryly amused voice from behind her. "You have had your first lesson with Logan, I take it?"

Cammie turned around, she had a decent bruise on her forehead, but nothing worse than some of the other injuries she had gotten over the years, “What was your first clue?” she asked, turning around. “I’ve never gotten beaten up like that before.” Her head still hurt.

“I mean, when they say we aren’t human I think you can actually apply that to him.”

"Logan is in a class of his own", Kurt agreed. "He has been in this field for longer than many of us here have been alive... we think. No one is sure how old he is."

“So he doesn’t tell people his age,” Cammie said with a shrug. Or he was immortal or something. Who knew around here. “My head still hurts. And I don’t think he stopped smoking the entire time.” A wound to the pride.

"He does that." He peered over at the bruise, assessingly. "How hard did he hit you?"

“Not as hard as he could’ve,” Cammie admitted with a shrug. “The part where he knocked me out might have been more my fault. How did he put it? I blocked with my face.”

"He knocked you out?" That wasn't quite as amused, as he was considering concussion and the like. "With the blow that left that bruise?"

“For a second, woke me up with water, so I don’t know if that really counts. But now I know how all those bikers felt,” in a way. She wasn’t puking. She wasn’t in massive amounts of pain. She was just ticked off.

"You should go to the doctors if the headache does not fade soon", he advised, but left it at that. "He will teach you to evade his attacks."

“Yeah, I will. If only to get the pain turned off,” since she couldn’t take Tylenol. “Next time, I’ll duck. Seriously, he’s insane. But hey, I’ll learn something so it can’t be all bad.”

Kurt snorted quietly. "In time, perhaps you will even be able to hit him back."

“Yeah, that was a bit frustrating,” Cammie grumbled. She had even been able to hit Garrison. And with Lil, she could hit Lil all she wanted and not worry about hurting the overly-large woman. “I’ve never been knocked out in a fight before,” she grumbled. “Which sounds like a tall tale or something but it’s not.”

"Well, I imagine your powers helped there. Did you ever fight at all before they manifested?"

“Only the town bully,” Cammie admitted cheerfully. They had only had one who resorted to blows. The others were of the back biting girl variety. Of course, in a small town it wasn’t really anything to be the best at fighting. “But ever since I have I’ve been fighting. Sure, three… ‘bout four years isn’t a lifetime. But if I didn’t have some talent I’d be dead by now.”

"There is that", he said with a grin. "Four years is long enough to learn a great deal."

“Yeah, you see, so this was totally just a fluke. Or, you know, he actually knows what he’s doing,” she wanted it be the first one. But she knew it was the latter.

"With Logan, I am afraid, it is never a fluke. Anything he told you about his ability is most likely true."

“He said something like he’s the best I’ll ever see, which you know, I would take to be just bragging except that he didn’t strike me as the type,” Cammie said.

"Oh, Logan is perfectly capable of bragging", Kurt told her, amused. "But in this case, I think it would only be a very little exaggeration, if any at all."

“Then I blame my head injury for thinking the first. But he is good,” the bruise proved that. “At least I’ll end up learning something. One way or another.”

"Indeed you will."

“Thanks. You know, you’re a decent guy. Have I said that? There really aren’t many of those around anymore,” Cammie said.

He blinked at that, then smiled slightly. "Not in this house, I think. But thank you."

“Hey no problem. I mean, I haven’t really met anyone else I really talk with,” of course, she normally went right into sarcastic mode.

"Well, you have not been here and out of medlab for a very long time," he pointed out.

“But I do know my charming personality,” Cammie returned, with a grin.
