Break-In At Lab

Police still have no leads after a Westchester area pharmacetical company was broken into late Sunday night. PharmaGuard Industries reported the break-in on discovering it Monday morning, and authorities are reluctant to admit how the facility could have been breeched. PharamGuard's processing storage vault is adjuanct to the main facility, and the security on the building is extremely tight.

"We are baffled," Jean Stanton, the head of PharmaGuard's security division stated. "Who ever was involved in this assault managed to bypass six security personnel, a full suite of electronic security equipment and a full camera system."

While PharamGuard is reluctant to provide full details of exactly what was stolen, the company was quick to issue a statment that the stocks pilfered do not pose an immediate threat to the public. Police have speculated that the robbery was narcotic based; specifically to seize stocks that can be used for the manufacture of various street drugs to sold directly.

PharamGuard has suffered several setbacks financially since the failure of it's much touted AIDS treatment and has been looking to establish itself in Asian markets as a way to shore up troubled stocks. The company dropped ten percent as news of the robbery reached the markets, but rallied to regain a stable lower loss as the federal government and the companies insurance agreed to cover the costs.

There is no word as of yet on the possible street value of the drugs. Westchester County officials have mobilized their Narcotics Task Force in a bid to seize the drugs before they can be distributed to the larger urban centres.
