subject: Feb 14 trip to Belfayre, grads and seniors
Shinobi and I were thinking of taking an overnight run to Belfayre to let him face-plant on the slopes for a while and get out of the house. We'd like to take some of the senior students and maybe some other grad students/teachers with us. I'm thinking it would be fairly efficient for us to leave /early/ the 14th, ski/snowboard all day, stay overnight, get a few runs in and then leave around noon to come home. I know I was just away last weekend but tempers are short around here and it might do some good to get more people out of the house. If you'd rather I stuck around this weekend, I understand.

If you have time, could you check up on her for me? I promise prompt delivery of Krispy Kreme or whatever else might appeal, though I confess that I know how to make donuts. I'd just have to warm up the deep fryer. *bribes*

First, I have to say that your nicknaming is quite clever and, as mimicry is the sincerest form of flattery, I've taken to using a few of my own.
Second, you know how to make donuts? You've got yourself a slave for life.
Third, Baby Davidson is doing very well. She is scheduled to be released later in the week -- Friday, I believe the young doctor said -- and her only lasting ill effects from the accident will be the occasional need for physical therapy as she grows.
You might also be interested to know that she tested positive for the x-gene and her parents don't seem overtly displeased by the news. They were, however, very concerned about the hospital bills, as their insurance doesn't cover mutants. Of course. On the bright side, my young doctor friend seems to have thrown his ethics out the window and trashed the results of the test. Remind me to send him a case of donuts.

Thank you so much. This news really made my, well, month. Possibly my year. And I could
kisshug that doctor. Wow. What a relief.Marie
