Noise & Confusion...Hospital (Backdated)
Feb. 14th, 2010 07:03 pmSimon wakes up and escapes from the hospital.
Doctor Williams checked his patient's steady vitals as the two armed officers hovered about the room. "He's on a sedative, you know. He won't be waking up anytime soon," Williams said with an annoyed sigh.
The pain Simon felt didn't register through the sedation, nor did the words the doctor spoke. He was too busy mulling over the orders he'd received from McPhearson. Kill Julian, the man had been very emphatic. The consequences for failure were beyond imagining and the fear brought Simon to consciousness.
Seeing the young man wake up from what should have been a light coma caused Doctor Williams to be dumbstruck. Of course, this meant not being able to warn the officer who had his back turned to the teen when a beefy hand reached towards him.
Wrapping the doctor in one arm, Simon sat bolt upright. "You make a sound and you die," he whispered. The two officers were still unaware that he'd woken up, and he needed to take them both out before they could raise the alarm. With a quick squeeze, and a jerky wrenching motion, Simon launched the doctor into the man on the right while sliding off the left side of the bed. In moments he closed the distance to the second man, looming over him with menacing ferocity.
The officer drew his pistol and spoke with a shaky voice, "G-g-get down!"
"Make me," Simon replied with a grin. A quick punch sent the officer flying through the near wall. The man crashed into the hallway and fell limp against the floor. "Now to finish this." He stepped out into the hall and looked for the nearest exit sign.
