To decompress, Betsy spends Friday night out in a club in New York City.

The repetitive drum beat filled her veins with the need to move. To dance. To celebrate. It only got louder as she entered the club. Techno beats and strobe lighting filled her senses. Through the doors, Betsy began to sway to the music with abandon.

A very fit body brushed up against her and she looked at her new partner and laughed. Betsy leaned back against him and kept moving with the crowd. She felt the shiver that ran through him but kept dancing. Whether he was shocked or excited, his mind kept screaming out to her. I'm dancing with Busty Braddock. She's letting me dance with her. There is a God. Amen.

"C'mon, priest." Betsy said, as she joined hands with his and led him off the dance floor. "Buy a girl some absolution, will ya?"

A nod of the head, a flash of a smile as brown curls bounded up and down. "Sure. Yes. Definitely."

"Vodka Tonic," Betsy whispered into his ear and into his mind.

"One Vodka Tonic coming right up," her companion said happily.

"You're a gentleman and a saint," she said with an assessing look and a lascivious smirk. Betsy watched as the flush traveled up his face and he turned towards the bartender to lessen her scrutiny.

Betsy laughed and turned her attention back to the crowd.

"Rum and coke and a Vodka Tonic." He said as he looked over at Betsy, studying the crowd. If she'd been paying attention to her new companion, she would've realized he thought she could handle something more 'fun' and new. And as the thought occurred to him, he excitedly turned back to the bartender. "Actually just make it two Vodkas with Green Speed." He said with a tremble to his voice. "Also put a little splash of soda in them."

The bartender served the drinks, sliding them down the bar. "Enjoy," he added with a knowing look.

The room was pulsing with a new song. The lights hypnotic as they followed the rhythm. A hand on her shoulder told her he'd returned.

"So what's your name," Betsy called out over the crowd.

"Jared," he yelled into her ear as he handed her the drink.

Betsy looked at her surroundings and thought she had to bring Jim here one day. She took a long pull from the glass and yelled back. "Thank you. I really needed this."

Jared smiled from around his glass and took her hand in his as he lead her back to the dance floor.
