Warren and Tabitha | Tuesday night

Warren and Tabitha chat over dinner, and Warren proposes a weekend away.

"You've never been overseas before?" Warren was incredulous. "X-Men missions do not count as overseas travel, for the record." Moving into the mansion had a surprising side-effect of him being able to spend more time with his friends there, which is why he was currently lounging about in the living room of his suite, having dinner with Tabitha.

"What about Red X missions?" She asked defensively. "Or when P- when we went to Rome to pick-pocket at some festival or another?"

"No, that doesn't count either," Warren laughed. "That's it. We're going. I haven't been overseas in a long while, and I could do with a holiday. You're on spring break, right? We can go now. Do you have a passport?"

She eyed him. His enthusiasm frightened her, just a little bit. "I do. Where would we go?"

Never let it be said that Warren was one to do things by half measures.

"Rome," he said promptly. "You can see it properly. And I think I have an invite to a party there. I wasn't going to go, but hey, why not?" There was an excited gleam in his eye. "Which means we'll have to go shopping while we're there as well."

Tabitha's eyes widened to deer-in-the-headlights proportions. "W-wait, what? Shopping? Parties?"

Warren beamed at her. "It'll be great! You'll have fun, I promise."

She buried her face in her hands with a moan. "If I have to actually use my closet when we get back, you're helping me move the books."
