Operation: Teenage Wasteland - Remy/Sofia
Jan. 11th, 2012 08:18 pmRemy checks in on the very quiet Sofia to see if she's ready for this.
Remy walked through the office, setting up the materials they'd need for the next stage of the plan. He couldn't count on the normal skills his staff had, instead having to develop a plan that took into account their behaviours as teenagers. Hellions, most of them...
The thought made him pause, and he hunted through the office until he found who he was looking for, sitting in the conference room alone, starting out the window at the city. Sofia wasn't one to waste words normally, but her as a teenager had almost been a ghost; silent and as unobtrusive as possible.
"Sofia? You alright?"
Starting, Sofia turned to him, trying to put up a smile in recognition. "Oh. Hi," she said. "Yes, I am fine. Outside, it is just still. Very distracting, that is all. I thank you for the, um, concern? I am sure this is not very fun for you."
"I've had better days, oui." Remy said, taking a seat opposite her. Like some of the others, Sofia's appearance had changed; her normally straight hair left more curly and natural, none of her normally perfectly applied make-up, and a lack of heels in her casualwear.
"Remy know dis is strange, but hopefully we'll be back to normal soon."
"I am sure you are anxious to have your wife back." Blushing, Sofia looked back out the window, pulling up one leg to her chest, arms around it. "I seem to like my life here. I think. I wouldn't stay here if I didn't, would I?"
She paused, taking a deep breath. "Are we... Do I have friends... here?"
"You do." Remy nodded. "You turn into a woman dat isn't de easiest to get to know, but once you do... de rest of dem are you friends. So am I."
Sofia laughed, nodding. "I was wondering about all the shoes, I admit. The very... tall shoes." She glanced at him. "Thank you."
"Well, de shoe thing seems to be very important to you. Pretty sure dat we could give you your salary in designer shoes and you be happy." Remy grinned at her. "I know dis is all a lot, but trust me. Trust dat you can do what I ask you to do, and we get you back in dose heels soon enough."
She blinked, surprised, then grinned back. "I will try to remember that."
