BACKDATED. Warren surprises a newly returned Lorna, and sweeps her off to have lunch so they can catch up.

Warren probably shouldn't enjoy meetings being cancelled, but he did. Especially when it meant he had some time up his sleeve - time, he decided when he spotted a green head of hair, he would spend catching up with an old friend.

"Hello," he said casually, coming up behind Lorna and talking over her shoulder. "I believe I used know a woman who looked a little like you, but I'll be damned if I can remember her name. Linda? Luna? I just can't recall."

Lorna was just standing minding her own business, looking down at a planner with the next two weeks menu. Chewing at the end of her pen, as she heard a voice behind her. Turning her head slightly, to see her favorite winged man. "Hello...William right? Or was it Wilburt?" She smirked.

"Oh no," Warren replied with a smirk of his own, his tone faux-hurt as he clutched at his heart. "It's been so long we've forgotten who each other is. Quick, drop everything, I'm taking you out for lunch. We need to get reacquainted, this instant."

Closing her planner, as she turned about face. "Well I don't have anything planned for the next couple of hours. Wait that isn't what you meant by dropping everything." She put her planner down nearby. "Alright everything is dropped."

Warren grinned and swept her up in a bear hug, literally lifting her off the ground as he pulled her in. "Welcome back, Ms Dane. It's a pleasure to see you again." He eventually set her back on her feet and let her go, though he then promptly linked arms with her. "Time to re-introduce you to the eateries of Salem. I think there are a few new places you are going to have to try."

"Woah." As she was lifted into a hug, "Aww thanks Mr. Worthington. It is nice to see you again." Her feet touched the ground once more, her arm was with his. "Oh really? New places? I thought I knew everything. What did you have in mind?"

"I think I'm going to surprise you," he replied, still grinning. "There are a couple of places I'm sure you won't have been to. Or at least I hope not, that would spoil everything." He ushered her out the door, heading towards the garage. He could just fly them there, but it was still a little too cold for that.

"A surprise? Well, if there has been new openings from March until now, I probably haven't been." She said, as they came to the garage. "I wonder what it could be."

"Suuuuurprise." Warren said with a grin, opening his car door for her and bowing with a flourish. "My lady."

Shaking her head as she smiled, and got into the car. "My what a gentlemen. But is the surprise in the car?" Looking around.

"No, the surprise is in Salem Center. You'll just have to wait patiently until we get there." He closed the door behind her, then got in the car himself.

Where Warren parked wasn't close to the main strip of restaurants, but a few streets away. The place he ushered Lorna towards was a small Mexican place that Angelo had introduced him to a couple of months ago. He held the door for her, then nodded to the host who joined them almost immediately. He seated them, leaving Warren and Lorna with menus before leaving them to themselves.

"The food here is all pretty good," he informed Lorna once their host had departed. "And the chef is actually Mexican, so it's all pretty authentic. Not that... Texmex crap."

Before Lorna knew it, she was out of the car, in the door and already seated. Lorna laughed into her menu, "Are you saying that when I cook Mexican food it isn't as good? I am hurt." She teased. Lorna already knew what she wanted. "Haven't seen you in awhile, how have you been?"

"Your food is always great," Warren said with a grin. "I've been... pretty busy. Mostly these days with the law firm I started in District X. It's been keeping me out of trouble." The waiter appeared to take their orders, and disappeared just as quickly.

"What about you? What have you been up to?"

Lorna nodded as Warren talked. "Keeping out of trouble is always good." She smiled. "Me? Well I just finally unpacked my office and my room. Also preparing the school menus and setting appointments with students and staff if they want it. It just feels nice to be back."

"And you're settling back in okay?" Warren asked. "It's not really the same mansion it was once upon a time. Which is a good thing, I suppose." The kids they had around now didn't get into nearly the same amount of trouble that the earlier generations did.

"Yes. Settling back just fine." Lorna smiled. "It is still a madhouse, but it wouldn't be the same if it wasn't. On the second day back, a girl's powers manifested. Her screams could be heard in everyone's head."

"I'm fairly certain it's not quite as bad as it used to be," Warren said with a grin. "But things do occasionally pop up to surprise us."

"True. Back then, there was a lot of drama." She replied back with a grin of her own. Their food was brought and set in front of them. "The moment of truth: Did Warren bring me to a place with good food?"

"Warren wouldn't dare do anything else," Warren replied with a wide grin, waiting to see what she thought of the food. It was pretty fantastic last time he was here, and he didn't expect it would be different this time.

Lorna smiled before taking a bite. After a second she nodded. "Okay it is pretty good. I'll have to come here again." She looked up at Warren. "Thanks for taking me out. It is good to catch up with you."

"I told you," Warren said smugly, digging into his own food. "And really, any time gorgeous. There's nothing I like more than meals out with friends."

"Sounds like a plan, I'll hold you to it." She replied.
