Angelo, Yvette and Jean

While Garrison and Terry talk to the authorities, Angelo, Yvette and Jean try to find where Sooraya has been taken.

The atmosphere in the hotel room was tense and mostly quiet. They could almost follow the argument of the couple in the room next to them word for word.

Jean paced the room. The others were hard at work in trying to get a lead on Sooraya and Leyu's location but so far they had had little luck. Jean herself had been at it, her mind reached out, trying to get some inkling of a direction to go but there was something about the closed four walls of the hotel that seemed to stifle her. There were times when she wanted that, sought it out, but this was not one of those times.

"I need to go outside. I think I'd be able to work better out in the open."

Yvette nodded, watching the older woman pace. "The balcony, perhaps?" she suggested. "It is not so... claustrophobic, yes?"

"Fresh air, at least", Angelo agreed.  "And we can keep working in here."

"I was thinking street level," Jean said.

In a way she felt like a psionic bloodhound sometimes but in the end it usually worked rather well. If the person she was looking for was in the vicinity it was easier for her to detect their psi-signature. They had a few potential places to look, the closest being the warehouse district only a few blocks away. She was normally able to reach her mind out to try to find a person but often it was better to investigate the old fashioned way.

"You're both welcome to come with me or I'll let you know by communicator if I've found something."

"If you are going to be distracted, it might be best we come along, to be  sure nothing happens," Yvette replied. "And three pairs of eyes can be more useful, yes?"

Angelo nodded, ready to do whatever seemed necessary.  "We'll come along, yeah.  The digging's turning up nothing, maybe your way will."

Grabbing her jacket, Jean slipped it on over her uniform. "I'll meet the two of you outside," she said.
