The X-men arrive at the warehouse and divide to deal with their multiple targets...
It was starting to get dark already when they arrived in the industrial area where the warehouse had been located.
"Okay", Angelo said, voice low as he glanced around. "Phoenix, who all's in there and where should we go?"
Jean's eyes took on an unfocused look and she turned her head, listening. "Sooraya and Leyu are both there but not together. They're in separate parts of the building. I also count Sayyid and at least 9 more people, most of them less than friendly. Leyu's closest to the south entrance around the corner and Sooraya near the east entrance."
Yvette nodded, glancing at Angelo. "We can go quietly and find Leyu; if there is the guard, we can manage him."
Terry tugged at her collar, loosening it while she scanned the area, seeing if she could spot any other sorts of barriers or obstacles.
"That's likely the best. Why don't you and Angelo get Leyu? We can keep Sayyid busy. And by busy I mean scrambling around trying to collect his teeth off the ground." The Canadian was angry; another botched guard job at the hands of a would be fanatic. He'd been one of the ones to accompany Sooraya back to Afghanistan in the first place, which meant that there was a strong personal protective streak with her buried in him.
"Sounds like a capital idea," Jean said. This man had taken two of her students, current and former. He would regret that.

"We'll go join the fun with Sayyid when we've got Leyu", Angelo suggested to Yvette as they headed off. "I'd bet she'll be pissed too, I don't know how they stopped her burning her way out already."
"An inhibitor, perhaps?" she suggested, remembering her own encounters with the devices. "Although I did not think such a thing could be easily found on Attilan. Maybe they have someone who can block powers." She looked less than thrilled at the prospect.
"If they do, he's the first target", Angelo said grimly. "Powers usually turn off when you're unconscious. If it's a machine, that's even easier."
Yvette frowned, liking the idea of Leyu being unconscious even less. "Then we should hurry and find her, then."

Jean pulled the zipper up a little tighter around her neck as she headed for the east entrance. There was always a sense of unbridled anticipation when it came to these sorts of things, for better or worse.
"There are two guards just on the inside of the east entrance. We'll have to take them down quickly so as to have them not alert the others," she said.
"I can get one down, but my ways are less... subtle than your own are being," Terry said, moving just a step behind and to the side of the other redhead.
"I need to get close." Kane muttered. "I guess that makes me backup today. Doc, it's your show."
Jean nodded as the east entrance door came into view. A few feet away she paused, eyes once again taking on that usual unfocused look as she, reached out for the two minds just outside the door. A moment passed, then another before two startled, muffled cries rang out followed by a two heavy thuds. She preferred to use a psi-blast sparingly but they were pressed for time.
"It's done. The door should be unlocked…”
