Angel and Lorna have some downtime in their suite. Angel's a little silly and Lorna's a little drunk. They're an interesting pair.

Lorna sat on the couch, wine in her hand as she was watching a Disney movie. Something to keep her mind in a happy place after the events that happened in the last week. Lorna had taken a long hot shower it, hoping to wash herself from the blood, dirt and memories. It all worked except the memories. Finishing off her glass of wine she reached over to her bottle and poured herself another glass.

Angel made her way into the suite with a Popsicle sticking out of her mouth. It had been a free-for-all down in the kitchen - she'd barely made it out with her life. And this Popsicle. It wasn't the most filling thing in the world, but it was summer treat, and summer was good. Summer meant normal. And Angel liked normal. She closed the door behind her, tilting her head at the happy characters traipsing around on Lorna's TV screen. "Whatcha watching?" She asked conversationally - thankfully after remembering to pull the Popsicle out.

"Beauty and the Beast." Lorna looked over to see her suitemate had returned. "Want to join?" Lorna hadn't been in the kitchen since she returned - what a shocker - she dreaded to see what the kitchen looked like during her absents. "Just getting to the best part."

"Oooooh, definitely." Angel plopped down on the couch next Lorna, taking a careful bite of her Popsicle before saying, "I haven't seen this movie in forever. Chip was always my favorite. And Lumiere. I used to know 'Be Our Guest' by heart. Probably still do. Don't worry though, I won't sing." She paused when she realized she was babbling. And interrupting the movie. "Oops...sorry."

Lorna giggled, "No worries. I probably still know the entire song of 'Be Our Guest' by heart. Have you seen the play of Beauty and the Beast?" Interrupting the movie herself. "This movie rates in my top ten Disney movies."

"Actually, no." Well as long as Lorna wasn't going to discourage talking... "I had a friend who did, though, she said it was amazing. Well, actually I think she said it was super cool - we were, like, six. I was so jealous, though, the closest I've ever come to seeing anything performed live was Disney on Ice. Have you seen it? The play, I mean - well, obviously I mean the play, that probably didn't need clarification."

"Yes. I have seen it. It was just as good as the movie and at least the actor that played the Prince was hotter. I don't know what Disney was thinking when they drew the Prince in the cartoon. The one I really want to see is the Lion King one. I think that is coming to New York soon." Lorna took a sip of her drink.

"I liked the Beast better than the prince in the movie," Angel admitted with a grin. "At least he had the warm, furry thing going on. The prince was just...I dunno. Good to hear the on-stage adaptation did the poor guy justice, though. Oh my god, Lion King on Broadway is supposed to be so good. Like, on par with Cats or something. We should see how much tickets cost if it's going to be in New York." Then, because it just seemed, so appropriate, Angel started singing, "Hakuna matata. What a wonderful phraaase. Hakuna matata. Ain't no passing craaaaaze!"

"Same! Yes another person who agrees with me." Lorna said to the ceiling, carefully not spilling her wine. "I'll look it up. It is the one play that always seems to land on a day I can't go. But I'll so make time for it this time around." Lorna blinked at Angel as she broke out into song, she knew there was something about the red head that Lorna liked about her. "It means no worries! For the rest of your days....It's our problem free, philosophy...Hakhuna matata."

Angel's eyes lit up as Lorna joined in the singing, and she laughed. "Okay, that cinches it. You, me, Lion King on Broadway. We need to make this happen. Worse comes to worse, we make cardboard cut outs of ourselves and just stick them wherever they need to be so we can sneak away."

It felt good to laugh, it really did. "I'll look up the times and dates they are coming and see how much the tickets are. I heard to try and get the isle seats. I like this cardboard cut outs idea. Maybe I should have one laying around just in case."

"Brilliant." Angel clapped her hands together, her eyes shining brightly now. "This is going to be great if we can go. And you never know when you're going to need a cardboard cutout of yourself - you should always have one on hand."

"No if...when." Lorna said sternly but with a hint of amusement. I think I have cardboard boxes in my office. Oh, this gives me an idea. Lorna and Angel cardboard box army!" Woah, Lorna had too much wine.

Angel raised an amused eyebrow at Lorna, a smile pulling at her lips as she examined the wine glass in Lorna's hand, then looked at the bottle. "I think you're done, Lorna. But hold on to that suggestion and if you think it's still a good idea when you're sober, I am so down with it because a Lorna and Angel cardboard box army would be awesome." And Angel wasn't one to turn her nose up at a hilarious idea.

Lorna sighed, "Yes. Done. But I come up with the best ideas when I have some wine in me. Well this movie is over..want to watch another one? Your choice."

Oh I'm not disagreeing," Angel replied with a grin. "I think a cardboard box army is a fabulous idea. And yes please to another movie. Maybe we'll actually watch this one instead of talking through the last ten minutes." She paused for a moment before asking, "Hey, do you have Lion King?" She was in the mood for that now.

Finishing off her glass and putting it down, "She ask if I have Lion King..." Lorna giggled and pointed over to the bookshelf filled with dvds. "Of course! I have all the Disney movies, take your pick."

Angel laughed as she hopped up, detouring to the kitchen for a brief moment to throw out her Popsicle stick before going over to the bookshelf. "I figured it was a silly question - and if you didn't have it, we would have had some serious issues because I'm pretty sure it's blasphemy not to own Lion King...aha, there it is." She pulled the case out with a flourish. "For the record, there's a very real possibility I will start singing along to every song."

"I think it is blasphemy as well. And I will not hold it against you. I'll sing with you. We will sing until our neighbors come over and tell us to quiet down." Their neighbors being other staff members. "I am pretty sure they'll forgive us."

"It's Lion King," Angel responded with a grin. "I don't think anyone can get too mad."

"Nope they shouldn't. Besides, I cook their meals." Lorna chuckled at the thought of blackmailing the other staff members if they thought they were too loud. "Okay lets get our singing on."

"Very true, very true," Angel said, flopping back on the couch and hitting 'play' when the menu came up. "If nothing else, I would say they owe you for providing them with nourishment day after day after day." The opening scene started, and Angel grinned as the soft tones of familiar music reached her ears, and she started humming.

"A little singing never hurt anyone. Well maybe their ears." Lorna laughed as the movie started. This night was just about to get better.

"Speak for yourself," Angel responded with a grin. "I'm totally the next uh...ack, there are no current popular singers I can compare myself to without feeling shame. Well, whatever." She paused, waiting for the song build up, then started singing along Circle of Life.

Lorna laughed at Angel, "Don't feel discourage, we can be in a class all our own." She was really glad that her suite mate was awesome and didn't mind singing to songs to Disney movies.

Angel shot a wide grin in Lorna's direction. "It's true. We have a very under-appreciated talent, I think. That's okay, though, as long as we're happy." And they seemed to be, in their own, strange way. A suitemate match made in heaven - or some other crazy place.
