At the concert, Korvus catches Sam rocking out and the two talk about various instruments for awhile.

"Is that like when Americans who do not know how to fight punch the air?" Korvus said suddenly from behind Sam. The music of the concert covered the sound of the younger man's approach. "Or are you a musician?" He asked curiously before glancing around at the crowd. He didn't see anyone else pretending to play along with the music. Perhaps this was unusual even for musicians.

Sam had been playing a little air guitar to the song the current band was blasting through, a cover of an old Lynyrd Skynyrd song that he loved. He hadn't heard Korvus as he approached and as such was still strumming the imaginary guitar along with the music. He did a double take at his fellow mutant's sudden appearance before putting his hands own and grinning sheepishly. "I didn't see you there, heh. I, uh. Was just, y'know. Air guitar?" He held up his hands again for a few seconds, miming the playing of the invisible instrument to show Korvus what he meant. "I do play a bit, though, yeah. How 'bout yourself?"

"I am familiar with electric and acoustic guitars but not air guitars." Korvus looked Sam over skeptically. "Is that the type of guitar you play?"

"I usually play banjo, actually, but I know a little guitar. Real guitar, I mean, both electric and acoustic. Air guitar is just... gosh, how do I explain it?" Sam scratched the back of his head, trying to figure out just how to do so but coming up short. "Imaginary, I guess?"

Korvus nodded when Sam said it was imaginary. He didn't want to have to be the one to point that out... or to have to inquire about the other man's sanity. "I am not familiar with the banjo." He paused for just a moment to think. It was important to relate to other people. "I am a capable sitar player."

"It's kinda similar, I guess. I mean, it's got strings and frets, but not exactly the same." Sam caught himself almost giving Korvus an example of air banjo as opposed to air guitar before he realized how silly that would've been. "I can show you sometime, if you want, when we get back." His eyebrows went up at the mention of the sitar. "Oh shoot, really? That's awesome, I've never seen one but I love the sound of it, from the songs I've heard on one anyway. Did you bring one with you?"

"I did not bring much." Korvus admitted, giving a short, regretful smile. "My families assets were confiscated. I do not believe it would be easy to find a sitar locally, either. You may be forced to simply trust I am speaking the truth."

"Oh, yeah, it's probably not something you can find at any ol' music store, I reckon." Sam rubbed the back of his neck, smiling awkwardly at Korvus. He hadn't really thought his question through and he hoped he hadn't embarrassed the other man. "I do believe you though, totally, and hey, I know it ain't even close, but if you ever get the urge to pluck a string or two you can always borrow my instrument. I can even show you a thing or two, if you'd like."

Korvus nodded. "Thank you for the offer. Western music uses an entirely different note structure, however. I will be more than useless with a banjo, I have no doubt." The younger man admitted.

"Nah, you'll be pluckin' and grinnin' in no time I bet." Sam wasn't familiar with anything other than Western music but he figured if Korvus could rock something as complicated seeming as the sitar then a banjo wouldn't be too bad to take on. "Either way, it'd be fun to have someone to play music with sometime."

"I will also actively attempt to locate a sitar." Korvus offered in return. "I will begin working soon. It would be enjoyable to have one again."

"Well alright then, that sounds like a good plan, Korvus." Sam grinned and clapped his hand on Korvus's shoulder. "You'll have to let me know when you do, I'd love to hear you play sometime."

"I will do that." Korvus said with a smile. "If I make a mistake it is unlikely you will notice. That will remove most of the stress from a performance."

"That, my friend, is the truth." He chuckled at Korvus, patting the other man's shoulder once more before taking his hand back and turning back to the band as they continued to rock out.
