Enjoying the sunshine Sue and Tandy meet up by the pool and plans are hatched.

The mansion may have been stuck out in what was basically the middle of no-where and lack the bountiful amenities of the city but it did have one thing that you'd never find in the city. A private pool!

Sue clutched her towel as she hurried along the corridor towards the back door, it was a glorious sunny day outside and she had absolutely nothing better to do today than laze out by the pool. A fate that hardly filled her with dread, he thought to herself with a smile as she pushed open the door and stepped outside. The sunlight blinded her for an instant until she pushed her sunglasses up, and looked around the pool area. Apparently she wasn't the only person who had had thought hanging out by pool sounded good. Dropping her towel of a sun lounger she waved, "Hey Tandy," she called to the other blonde.

Tandy laid out in the sun with her 3DS playing a bit of Zelda for the better part of an hour. Looking up when she heard her name and smiled, "Hello Sue." Closing the hand handle and sitting on the table next to her, "Decided to enjoy the weather after all?"

"Well I can only resist the call of the pool for so long," Sue replied with a smile as she walked over to the edge of the aforementioned pool. Caustiously she dipped one foot in the pool before pulling out with a squeal. "On the other hand, the water's freezing, maybe Ill just stay out here in the sun for a bit" she complained with an exaggerated shudder.

"I am sure the water is fine." Getting up from her chair, evil smirk on her lips as she went and pushed Sue into the pool laughing.
Sue wasn't sure what happened, one moment she was out in the nice warm sun the next surrounded by the cold cold water. Recovering from her shock she pushed herself up to the surface and glared at her friend. "You...you," she spluttered. "The water's just lovely," she ground out through her chattering teeth, "Why don't you try it?" she asked as she lunged out of the pool and grabbed Tandy, dragging the other girl in with her.

Tandy held her stomach as she was laughing, "Told you." She said in between breaths. Looking at the other blonde before she was pulling in herself. The chilly water felt good on her hot skin, coming up for air a few seconds later and pushed her hair out of her face. "Its a bit cold but the day is still young...the sun will warm it up. Feels great though." Laughing still.

Sue dunked her head under water, flicking her hair back from her face as she surface. "It kinda does," she agreed as she pushed away from the wall towards the far side of the pool. "Besides since you're already wet I don't mind this so much." She said with a smirk as she started kicking up water drenching Tandy again.

Tandy turned away as Sue started to kick water towards her.Wiping her hand over her face so she can open her eyes again and she laughed. "Fair enough, but you forget...you are in my splashing radius as well." Tandy started to splash back.

Sue dived under water to escape from Tandy's retaliation resurfacing on the other side of the pool from her friend, a broad smile plastered on her face. "Truce, Truce" she called as she struggled to stay afloat between bouts of laughter.

Stopping when she heard Truce, Tandy swam to the shallow end, dunking her head under water before standing up. "Don't even notice that the water is cold anymore right?"

Following Tandy over to the shallow end Sue turned on her back so she was floating looking up at the clear blue sky. "Not really," she agreed, "now I really don't wanna get out." she said with a laugh.

"There are some floaties." Tandy got out and grabbed a couple of floats and dropped them in the water. "We can always relax in the pool."

Diving underwater once again Sue surfaced again with her sunglasses victoriously clasped in her hands. Grinning she pulled them on and climbed onto the floatie, "Now all we need are a pair of drinks with umbrellas in them. Maybe in a coconut."

Picking up her own sunglasses and putting them on, Tandy got back into the water and on top of the floatie. "I have bottled water, I guess that can be good enough." Laying down and looking over at Sue. "So how are you liking it here?"

Sue looked at Tandy in shock, "But...But...drinks in coconuts," she said plaintively before cracking a grin, "at least tell me it's cold water." Sue shut her eyes and dropped her head back on the floatie she pondered Tandy's question. "It's...I dunno, there's always something interesting going on here but," she smiled wanly, "I miss home and my brother." She didn't mention the night terrors that still haunted her, waking up in the middle of the screaming but her hand clenched tightly on the bottle in her hand the plastic making a cracking sound in her grip.

Tandy looked over at the plastic bottle, "Something on your mind? Or do you really hate that plastic bottle?"

Sue looked down at the plastic bottle in her hand in surprise, quickly loosening her grip. "Ah, just thinking," she lied before turning a brigh smile on Tandy, "besides it's too nice to worry about anything today. How're you liking it here?" she asked flipping the conversation onto her friend.

Raising an eyebrow but she didn't question further. "Meh. It is okay. I mean it totally beats living in Ohio. And some of the others here are pretty cool, but still trying to get used to the fact that the adults living here are actually the professors. They are all so nice but when the start of the term happens we will probably be seeing a totally different face to them."

"Well anything beats living in Ohio," Sue pointed out with a grin as she teased her friend. "Well how different can they get when term starts? It'll mean you can't avoid doing your homework or claim your dog ate it," not that Sue ever failed to finish her homework but that's what she saw people say in movies.

"Amen sister." She lowered her head on the cushion part of the floatie, "Unless we get a dog! I have seen a couple animals running loose, hell Molly has a moose."

"I have to admit," Sue replied with a smile, "having a dog would be kinda cool." She turned her head to face Tandy, "How do you even get a moose as a pet?"

"She got it for her birthday or something a year or two ago. That's what I heard." The blond shrugged, "Not sure what you do with a pet Moose besides look at it."

"You could rise it I guess," Sue offered, "a dog would be more fun to have around though."

"Or a turtle." Tandy said and smirked, "I always wanted a turtle."

Sue quirked an eyebrow at Tandy, "Please please tell me you don't plan on calling him Bowser."

"Kuppa!" Tandy laughed, "I would name him Bowser if he was a lizard that breaths fire."

Sue shook her head in exasperation, "I...there are no words" she told her friend.

"Tandy: One. Sue: Zero." Tandy laughed and splashed at Sue gentle as her floatie moved away across the pool.

Sue shook her head wearily and dipped one leg into the pool over the side of the floatie and kicking it out in Tandy's direction sending a spray of water at her friend and starting her floatie spinning and she stuck her tongue out at the other blonde. "You realize this is war right?"

"It is always war when in the pool, sunshine." Grinning at Sue.

Sue lifted her head to look at Tandy, trying to decide if it was worth the effort to swim over there to tip her over. Deciding she was comfortable where she was the girl let her head drop back onto her floatie, "You must have been to some really violent pools before."

"The only pool I have been in is the one at my parents. And yea, sometimes the parties get out of hand. But mostly it is all for fun." Tandy said taking a sip of her water.

""Parties?" Sue queried with a smile, "Don't tell me you were the party girl at school."

"No. But since my parents were gone all the time, and I had the biggest house everyone just came to my place. Didn't care it just meant that everyone was nice to me."

Sue looked over at Tandy sadly but managed to hold herself back from mouthing the platitudes she knew the other girl wouldn't want to hear. "So just how big is your house? As big as the mansion? Or bigger?" She asked tossing a grin at Tandy.

Looking over at the mansion, "I don't think anything can compare to the mansion. It is smaller, four bedrooms, two of them are converted into offices, three baths, kitchen, living room, parlor, garage, yard, ect ect." Tandy lowered her sunglasses and looked over at her friend, "If my house was as big as this one...I would totally play laser tag."

Sue shot up into a sitting position and stared at Tandy, that idea was inspired. Unfortunately the girl had sat up too fast and had overbalanced the floatie she was sitting on and ended up in the pool. Pulling herself up she grabbed onto the floatie and pulled her hair out of her face looking back over at Tandy with a huge grin on her face. "Yes, we need to do that. I mean this is like our home for now, so why shouldn't we organize a massive game of laser tag here?"

Tandy laughed as Sue fell into the pool, it was a comical scene to have witnessed. "Laser tag huh?" Looking over at the mansion.

"We'll have to get the gun and the chest pieces for everyone  but it could be due-able, plus there can be certain rooms that would be considered safe zones and bases."

Sue pulled herself back onto the floatie, "We could have a laser tag war," she enthused."Could always try to sell it to the teachers as powers training or something."

"Then they'll want to limit it to the danger room. Not the entire house." Tandy said and put her glasses back up to think. "Maybe we should just do it and not let the teachers involved."

Sue nodded as she settled back, shaking of the excess water from her unintentional dip in the pool. "That's true, although if they do get annoyed with us about it I'm so blaming you," she teased.

"Going to sell me out? Might have to reform my strategy." Tandy teased back "I don't think they'll be too mad, as long as we don't break anything."

"It's the law of the jungle, every girl for herself," Sue replied with a grin. "Besides have you met the kids here? We're almost guaranteed to smash a priceless vase or painting or something."

"I'll keep that in mind." Tandy smirked amusingly. "There fault for having priceless items in a mansion that has tons of teenagers. They should know better."
