The X-men gather with Adrienne and the Professor for a briefing before heading off to rescue Tandy.

Scott looked around the room, the anger and frustration he felt reflected on his friends faces. He sighed before speaking, "She wasn't in Mississippi, we did find tickets to South America, the next link in the chain." He grimaced before he gestured to the phone resting in front of Adrienne, "Did you get anything useful off that?"
Adrienne shook her head. "Not really. This shows she was upset, unhappy. Not really a big surprise there. 'Dad tossed it just before he took her outta the diner. The booth where they ate gives us a little more, though," she added, though she didn't sound like it cheered her up any. "I found out from there that Daddy Dearest drugged her dessert. 'Took her out of the diner before anyone else seemed to notice her acting weird. I Read an energy bar wrapper out in the parking lot, and a plastic cup, but I couldn't figure out which vehicle he put her into or where he went from there. Just some really weird shit regarding crazy parties that had nothing to do with Tandy. So what's our next move?"
Charles looked troubled. Another student missing, and so soon, really, after the last time. "As soon as I became aware of the issue, I used Cerebro to track her. Unfortunately, she appears to be still unconscious - I was unable to find much trace. I did, however, make brief contact with her mental signature, in South America."
"Can SHIELD help at all?" Kurt asked quietly.  "They have resources we do not, and as he is one of their own..."
Jim rubbed the back of his head uncomfortably. "They're already helping the FBI. If they can offer anything else it'd probably come through Garrison." He sighed and dropped his hand. "It doesn't matter. She just lost her mom and stepdad. Let's just get her back."
Scott looked around the room pointedly ignoring Jim as his gaze swept across the other X-men present. It looked like there was a group consensus, not that he had ever doubted the response of the group. "Lets go then,, there's no point in leaving her down there any longer than we have to. We shouldn't underestimate Agent Tyler when we we arrive," he warned, "the man is a mutant and a fully trained SHIELD agent, he's bound to have a few surprises waiting for us."
"Look, I hate to be the one to point this out," Adrienne muttered, wringing her hands together, "but are you guys really gonna just... go to South America and turn the entire continent upside down? I mean, we don't even know why the hell he took her in the first place. Professor, you said you made brief contact with her mental signature but now she's unconscious. But do you know that for sure? I mean, how do we know she's not already dead?"
Charles tried not to flinch at Adrienne's words and the reminder they held. "We cannot know anything for sure, Ms. Frost," he replied softly. "We can only have faith that Nathan Tyler will not hurt his daughter. As for how we will find them... we will do every thing we can."
Scott pushed his seat back from the table and stood up unwilling to wait any longer while they debated. "There is only one thing we need to do, we will get Tandy back." He swept his gaze around the room nodding at the gathered team, "I hope you all have your gear packed, we leave as soon as I've warmed up the Blackbird." He informed them before turning and leaving the room to do just that.
