Angel and Lorna stake out the food cabinet in hopes of catching the mysterious thief. Backdated to September.

Angel sighed quietly as she munched on her snack - one of those little munchie brownie things that only came in three in a bag so that a person would have to eat more and therefore buy more because they were just so good. "Brownie?" She offered to Lorna as she looked towards the cabinet, which had been unbothered since they'd started their stakeout.

Lorna looked down at the brownie for a second and then shook her head, "No thank you." The green haired woman then looked down at her watch, "They could come in any time during the night, I think next time I'll set up a camera or something."

"Yeah, but a couple all-nighters never killed anyone," Angel said as she popped another brownie into her mouth, sighing. "Besides, we get to hang, which is just awesome."

Lorna laughed softly, "Glad that us being suit mates hasn't dampened our friendship. And we still need to see Lion King."

"Of course it hasn't," Angel said happily. "We're way too special to be those people who try to live together but fail for one silly or reason or another. But yeah, Lion King. Personally I'm free now to the end of forever, at least for now. Barring any crises. Or alien invasions."

"Good. I wish I can say the same. I was asked to be the cooking teacher again, and now I have a thief in my mist." Lorna sighed. "Why can't anything just be okay for once. But I can make time for Lion King..."

"Oh, right. I forgot, I have classes too. Lion King is definitely more important, though." Angel reached over, patting Lorna's knee. "We'll figure out what's what with this thief thing, don't worry." She was having a hard time imagining anyone in the mansion turning to thievery without a very good reason. Okay, true, she didn't know a couple of the new students very well, but still. "And you won't have to buy a lock for the cabinet. We'll make everything okay again."

"I mean, there is tons of food in the fridge and in the pantry. Why go straight for the cooking class supplies? It makes no sense. Everyone knows that if it is labeled down eat it." Lorna finally just sat down in their hiding spot. "Same. Unless I lock everything in my office at night."

"I don't get it either," Angel admitted. Despite the constant parade of energy projectors and teenagers and just plain crazy appetites that tramped through day after day, the kitchen was very well stocked. And not that far away, really. "Hopefully when we catch the thief, he or she will have a really good explanation."

"I hope so because if it to sabotage my classes they'll regret messing with someone who control metal." Shaking her fist, as the cast irons nearby started to bang together. "That was me...sorry."

"No worries." Angel had jumped at the clanging, and was now settling back to her original position. "I doubt whoever is doing this is doing it to mess with your classes. That just wouldn't be cool. Once or twice would be a prank, but it's a serious problem now, and...no. Not cool at all. If you need any back up, I'm there."

"Thanks." Lorna gave a side ways smirk. "Yes, which is why I dismissed it as harmless. But it isn't me that they really are hurting it is the kids. I hate telling them that we are going to be making something and then having to change everything around the day off because we don't have enough for something."

"Hey, what're friends for?" Angel replied with a grin. "Yeah, it's not easy for anyone when the plan for the day gets messed up - you or the students. Not that I have any experience whatsoever being a teacher, but I can't imagine having to come up with something totally new on the spot is easy."

"It is kind of fun being a teacher. I have been cooking since...forever and been a teacher here before, so I can just think of something related to the teachings, not to justify that it is okay to steal the class's supplies. Again fully stocked kitchen for your eating pleasure! I still don't think it is fair to the kids you know." Lorna took a deep breath in and out, she was starting to freak out over it.

Angel could see the freaking out, and did the only thing she could think of in situations like this - she shifted closer to Lorna, wrapping her arms around the woman in a sideways hug and wresting her chin on Lorna's shoulder. For once, she didn't say anything - actions louder than words, and all that.

Lorna leaned her head on Angels and sighed, "I am cool. Just brings back memories of previous pranks pulled on me in the past."

"I'm sorry," Angel said sadly. She was all for pranks, had engaged in many a prank war, but not when they upset people - and Lorna was upset. That wasn't okay. "We'll figure this out." Nobody messed with her friends and got away with it. "Do you wanna talk about it?"

"It was some pranks before I was to leave for college in California." Lorna said and looked over at the dark kitchen. "I don't think they are coming...or they know we are here."

"What happened? If you don't mind me asking." Angel peaked around as well, then looked down at her phone for the time. It was...stupidly late. "No, guess not," she agreed, sighing. "They're probably in bed. The only people awake right now are creeps are weirdos," she added with a barely suppressed smirk.

"Some person was messing with things in my office, it happened long time ago." Lorna said, "Creeps and Weirdos? Wonder what that makes us?"

"Ah. Very much not cool. And very much not smart, messing with you." Angel rubbed the back of her head. "Um...we're sitting in the kitchen in the dead of night watching a food cabinet. We're either very strange or very dedicated to your job. Well, you're very dedicated. So I'm probably very strange. Wow, how many times can I say 'very' in one sentence?"

Lorna smiled at Angel and then stood up, "Come lets go. If things disappear in the AM I'll set up camera or ask Adrienne to help me since she asked. Just need to find a good bribe."

"Ms. Frost? Hmn..." Angel scrambled up as well, grabbing her bag of snacks. "She asked me if I'd brought back any jammie dodgers when I got back from England. If your'e going for bribe, I'd make it something sweet."

Lorna smirked, "Sweet is all I know how to do." Winking before carefully making her way out of the dark kitchen.
