Clint brings Tandy food after their texting and Tandy does her best to keep it together.

Tandy laid hidden under her covers, her heart was pounding as fast as her head was. Closing her eyes tightly when she heard the sounds of a knocking on her door. Getting up, she toppled over and banged her knee on the side of the dresser. "Ouch." Rubbing her knee as she opened the door, "Come in." Rubbing her her forehead as she closed the door behind him. "I smell food."

"That'd be because I brought some," Clint said, concern superseding the smile he'd been wearing a moment before. "But hey, you should get back to bed. I could've opened the door myself." He carried the food he'd brought - simple leftovers from the kitchen downstairs that involved some chicken, green beans, and potatoes - to Tandy once she'd actually headed back in that direction.

Her stomach grumbled at the thought of food so close. "Oh yea..right bed." She started to head back to the warmth and comfort of her bed, fixing her pillows so she could sit up. "Sorry I am a mess." Taking a deep breath in and then out to steady her breathing.

"No problem," Clint said, shaking his head. It was early yet, not past three. Putting the Tupperware container down next to Tandy, he raised his eyebrows. "You sure you don't need to see one of the doctors or something?" Maybe this was just a cold or something - or maybe it was a weird after effect of the kidnapping. Clint had no idea.

She picked up the tupperware and opened it and picked up the piece of chicken. "No no doctors. I mean...it will pass. I hope it does." Looking down at the chicken for awhile before eating it. "I'll be fine." Looking up at him and gave him a smile, though it was forced on her part. She hated feeling this way and she was trying so hard to hide it from everyone.

Clint didn't say anything for a long moment, note entirely sure whether he should call Tandy on her evasion or not. But then, it wasn't really his place to say anything. He guessed if she was still feeling under the weather on Sunday, he'd mention it to Miss Frost. He fidgeted just a bit, shifting from foot to foot, then shrugged. "I've got a thing to go to - Johnny and I are gonna play Ultimate. I'll have my phone, though, so text if you want." Leaning in quickly, he pressed an almost nervous kiss to Tandy's temple.

Tandy nodded softly as she was acknowledging him. "Okay. Have fun." The conflicting emotions that she was feeling was tearing her apart inside. Though the blonde smiled for a moment when she felt the kiss. "Clint?" Looking up at him and lifted up the food. "Thanks for this. And I am sorry about Wednesday night, I don't mean to be a horrible girlfriend. I'll make it up to you when I am...more together. Promise."

"You're not a horrible girlfriend," Clint said, quirking a smile. "Seriously. But we're definitely watching Singin' in the Rain on Sunday."
