Sooraya and Angel lie in wait to ask Yvette about her date.

"Shouldn't we turn on the the light?" Sooraya turned a quizzical look to her slightly crazy friend in the low light. "We don't want her to go all spiky again..."

"It's not like we're hiding behind the couch and we're going to jump out and yell 'surprise' when she walks in," Angel returned with a grin. "We're just sitting here, minding our own business, waiting to grill her on every detail of the date. Besides, the whole thing loses it's effect if we turn on the lights." It made perfect sense in her head, it really did.

"I thought you said we were minding our own business..." Sooraya retorted playfully. "I am almost surprised you haven't set up a lamp like in those old police movies."

"Well I'm not about to shine a bright light in her face," Angel said in mock indignation. "Give me a little bit more credit than that, I don't want to scare her. She spikes when she sneezes for goodness sake, imagine what she'd do if I shot a light in her eyes."

"Then why is that lamp over there on the table?" Sooraya pointed out a table lamp Angel had placed there earlier and carefully aimed it at the chair when she thought Sooraya was cutting up veggies for snacks.

"So we can see," Angel replied lightly. "Don't want to be stumbling around in the dark, do we? That's just asking for a broken leg."

"Wanna test that? I dare you to sit on that chair and I'll turn it on." Sooraya gestured to the chair with a challenge in her eyes.

"Wait, what are we testing?" Nonetheless, Angel bounced up and hopped over to the chair, flopping down. "Go for it."

Sooraya giggled as she walked over and took the light switch in one hand. "Ready?" At Angel's nod, she flipped on the light. "Hmm... I think you might have to do some recalibrating there." She stated as she eyed the light shining on Angel's chest.

"No, it's in the right place," Angel said with a grin. "A light right in her face would kill poor Yvette, and I quite like her alive. Alive is the best way to get information out of her, you know."

There was a sound coming from the door. "Wait..." She hissed. "I think Yvette might be home!"

"C'mon!" Angel hissed back, flipping the light off and jumping up, pushing Sooraya back to the couch. "Quick, look natural!"

Yvette opened the door as quietly as she could, not wanting to disturb her suitemate. It was late, after all - Sooraya had probably gone to bed by now. The Albanian planned to have a cup of tea, get into her pyjamas and relive the night in delicious happy detail. There may have been a silly grin on her face still.

In the meantime Sooraya had to press her hand to her mouth to stifle her giggles. She felt a small poke in her side for her friend to remain quiet, but that just caused her snort behind her hand. And that sound was clearly audible.

Yvette paused. "Hello?" she called. "Sooraya? Are you awake?" Her eyes glowed as she scanned the dim room.

That was Angel's cue. She flipped on the lamp, putting on the best serious look she could manage - which wasn't a great one, really, considering she was grinning like a maniac. "Hello Yvette."

Yvette blinked in the light, and a slight grin tugged at the corner of her mouth. "I thought you would be in bed by now," she pointed out. "Did you wait up for me?"

"Of course we did!" Sooraya exclaimed. "We wanted to know how things went." She stared at Yvette intently. "You did have a good time, right? Otherwise..."

Yvette's eyes glowed brightly and a soft smile crept over her face. "It was wonderful!" she replied, spinning around so her dress swirled around her. "I had the fantastic time!"

"Awesome! Well don't just stand there dancing all night!" Angel said impatiently, though she was grinning far too widely, pleased at Yvette's obvious happiness. "Sit, sit, sit, we need details!"

Yvette plopped into 'her' chair, the one with the Yvette-proof blanket draped over it. "What sort of details do you want?" she asked, smile turning mischievous.

"The beginning makes a good start..." Sooraya suggested. "I love to know everything you want to tell."

"Yes. That," Angel agreed eagerly. "What came first, the dinner or the movie? Where'd you eat? What movie did you see?"

"Well," Yvette began, grin growing wider. "First we went to this Albanian restaurant..."
