Lorna goes to see Bishop for help on the key she had found while visiting her parents.

Lorna sat in her car a good ten minutes looking down at the book she had found. It had belonged to her birth mother, her dad's sister, and inside was a key. What the key went to, only the good people inside of X-Factor would find out for her. "Come on Lorna, you want to know right?" Looking up at the rear mirror at herself. "Right?" After a couple of more minutes had past, she stuff the book into her bag and got out of her car. "You can do this." Taking a deep breath in and then out, she wasn't sure why she was worried.

The key could belong to an old apartment her mom once had, but why the words Somethings better off forgotten? Rubbing her forehead before heading up the stairs to the building, she hesitated and turned around before turning back around again. "No you are going to do this and you are going to have to leave with whatever news you will get." Before she could stop herself once more, Lorna entered the building and closed the door behind her. No going back.

Bishop was sitting at the front desk, feet up as he clicked through pictures on the Vale computer. Smoke from a cigarillo curled around the brim of his tilted fedora. In that second he could have existed in the yellowing pages of a 50s novel. He glanced up to Lorna as she came in. "Just me today." Any time he was someone from the mansion they seemed to be looking for someone else.

"Actually you are just the person I am looking for Bishop." Lorna walked over to the front desk and pulled out the book with the key on top. "I was wondering if you could help me solve a mystery."

"What do you think I am, a detective?" He said sarcastically as he sat upright, feet dropping from the desktop to the ground so he could lean in to look over the book. "What's the mystery?"

"I was thinking more of Shaggy." Lorna smiled at him before placing the book with the key on the desk. "I found this while helping my mom cleaning out her attic. Inside I found this key and a verse from a Sonnet with the initials S.Dane." She hesitated for a second while she gathered her thoughts. "I think it belonged to my real mom."

"You have your maternal last name, then?" Bishop asked to clarify as he gently pulled the cover of the book open with his thumb and index finger.

"Yes. I think so. My dad doesn't really tell me a whole lot of things about his side of the family. I know I should drop the whole family past thing, but for peace of mind so I can finally put it to rest sake, I would like to know."

Bishop nodded, "I get it." He had his own family problems growing up that helped him understand the importance of what Lorna must be feeling. "What exactly do you want to know?"

Lorna gave the man a knowing smile and nodded. "The key. It looks far to small to be a house key or car key. So I was thinking it might go to a box somewhere? I am not sure. I want to know where it goes, if it still exists."

"And the book is to show me why you think it's your mother's?" Bishop confirmed. "Finding out where the key goes should be pretty straight up."

"Well the key was found in the book. I don't know if it could help you out in any way. Maybe?" Lorna asked unsure of whether or not it would help him out.

Bishop nodded, "It might. Better to have it and not need it." He agreed. "You sure there's nothing else, just where the key goes?"

"If it does go to something, what it is and what is in it? And that should be good enough for me." Lorna nodded.

"If I find what it goes to, I'll give you a call." He agreed. "We'll take it from there."

"Thanks Bishop. And if I owe you anything let me know."
