Clint and Sue take a break while working on plans for robotics class.

Clint sat back in his chair and squinted at the vague schematics he'd come up with for his robot so far. "Finally got the track mechanics figured out but I still think jet propulsion would be cooler. I think I'm gonna call him Stewie instead of Howie." Jet propulsion was also basically impossible to control, but it would be awesome if he could actually make it work.

Sue pushed herself back from her desk where she'd been hunched over her computer and stretched before spinning her chair around to face Clint, "I still can't believe you're calling your robot Howie or Stewie," she noted with a grin, "I mean it's a machine of pure death and destruction...called Stewie. Just doesn't seem to inspire terror in the same way." The blonde span around in her chair a few more times as she considered the schematics. "The Jet propulsion would be pretty cool," she agreed, "you never know, if you managed to build something with a working jet, like a drone I'm pretty sure Miss Frost would give you an A+, and probably a job too."

Laughing, Clint nudged his computer and the scrap papers he'd been jotting notes to himself on aside so he could stretch. "I would totally take a job if she offered me one because how cool would that be? No offence to your dad or anything, but wow, working for Frost Enterprises?"

"That's the dream," Sue agreed with a smile, "I'd even take a job if she offered it to me, I mean it is Frost Enterprises. The only thing that would be better would be a job working for Stark Industries. Can you imagine how awesome that would be? Although we'll get there...one day at least."

"Ugh, Stark Industries," Clint said, half-laughing again. "I can't even imagine how awesome that would be. It'd be beyond awesome. So, so far beyond. How're you liking AP Physics? I really enjoyed it."

"It's fun," Sue agreed, "Waaaaay better than basic physics," she shrugged, "Sometimes I kinda wish they'd do something even more advanced though y'know. Something a little more challenging, or a little closer to college level."

Clint laughed again. "Sue, I'm pretty sure the 'AP' part of AP Physics means it is close to college level. But, that being said, I think I'll get to take some classes at Westchester next year - advanced science stuff, definitely college level math. I'm kind of psyched about it. Are you doing any of those this year? Maddie mentioned AP Physics, but besides Robotics, I don't know what else you're taking."

"Close to college isn't close enough," the blonde retorted pulling a face, "I'm in mostly AP everything now with some of college classes thrown in, mainly sciences and maths, the best classes right?" she grinned and nodded at Clint, "I kinda wanted to get the best chance at getting into a good university and there's just so much competition for places these days. It's a little scary," she admitted.

"No, I totally get that," Clint said, nodding earnestly. "But you're basically a genius, you're going to do great and get in everywhere. I'll bet you get some amazing academic scholarships, too. Do you have a specific school you're hoping for? I don't think I heard about where you'd applied."

"Where haven't I applied?" Sue replied with a laugh, "MIT, Harvard, Princeton, Columbia." The blonde shrugged, "I know that intellectually," she told Clint with a smile, "but knowing it and not going crazy while I wait are two completely different things." she told him with a laugh before her smile took on a teasing look, "What exactly to do you mean by almost a genius?"

"Well, I'd have to see your IQ to be sure, wouldn't I?" Clint asked, grinning. "But seriously - those are all the places I'm looking at. I'm doing early admission for Princeton next year. They have a Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering BSE, Masters, and PhD. But there's also a PhD in Plasma Physics. And one in Neuroscience. And one in Math. I might have some trouble figuring out which ones I want to do. But I could always double major."

"You show me yours and I'll show you mine," Sue replied with a grin, "I didn't really do the whole early admission thing, I don't want to restrict my options just yet, I mean Princeton has an amazing engineering program, but MiT? They're something else, or Harvard, they're well Harvard. You know I thought it would be easier now that all my applications are in, not harder. I just have all this time to sit twiddling my thumbs and wondering what if," the blonde noted with a a small laugh. "Double major, think triple major and then maybe, just maybe I'll get all the subjects I want."

Clint wrinkled his nose at Sue on the IQ score point, but let it slide. "God, MIT," Clint said. "You're right - they're totally something else. But hey, like I said. I get being nervous, but you're basically guaranteed a spot somewhere awesome. It's gotta be nerve wracking, but man, you rock. I've only glanced over your designs for your robot and it's pretty impressive." He grinned. "Not as impressive as mine, but then."

"Maybe," Sue allowed hesitantly, "it's probably just the waiting and nerves. I mean here I am thinking bout going to school on the otherside of the country, and I've never even really been more than an hour from home." The blonde shrugged before grinning at Clint, "Well it looks like someone wasn't really paying attention in class. I don't know how you're planning on getting an A here if you can't see that my designs blow poor Stewie out of the water."

"We'll see about that," Clint said, laughing. "I mean, you're not even trying for jet propulsion."

"Well now you mention that," Sue replied with an evil grin, "perhaps a drone would be the best idea for the tournament."

"Nope, that idea is my intellectual property and you're not allowed to use it unless I say so," Clint said, obviously having no actual idea about intellectual property laws so far as freely shared ideas were concerned. "But well, I guess I can be magnanimous and let you attempt to best me at my own game."

"Well that is extremely kind of you Mr Barton," Sue replied with a laugh. "I'll have to be sure not to embarrass you too badly then." she told Clint with a grin.

"I know, I know," Clint said, waving one hand through the air as he accepted her 'thanks.' "And I trust you won't embarrass me too badly." Then he sobered up and, still smiling a bit, said, "But we both know we'll do alright."

"We should," Sue agreed, "I mean how many of the other kids have CEOs of a tech firm as their robotics teacher? No pressure huh."

"None at all," Clint deadpanned. Then he smiled again. "Let's get back to it, though. We're supposed to have these schematics finished by the end of the week."
