Log: Sue and Tandy: Graduation plans

Tandy wakes Sue up with a surprise.

Tandy quietly entered Sue's suite and set up the table with the cup. She had texted Sue earlier but it just said OMG and that was it. She knew that her best friend was still in the suite because it was still early and the door was shut. Finally Tandy got a beat going with the cup and started to sing:

When she was done she finally looked over at the door.

A groan sounded from inside Sue's bedroom before the door swung open and a shoe, a sock and a pair of jeans were flung out of the door in the direction of Tandy's voice. A tousle-haired blond head appeared in the doorway and blinked blearily at her friend, "Do you have any idea what time it is?"

"Like my song blondie? I am tryin' to ask you something..." Tandy dodged the shoe and the sock but the jeans landed on her. "Hey! Are these my jeans?"

"Why'd your jeans be in my room?" came back the sleepy rejoiner, "Tan, do we really need to go over this again, my room is <i>not</i> an extension of your closet."

"I don't know you tell me." Tandy laughed and tossed the jeans on the couch. "So what do you think of my song. I'll give you a hint....There is truth behind it."

Sue collapsed onto the sofa nearest Tandy and rubbed her eyes blearily "Either you're planning on joining an A Cappella group or you're planing on leaving to go a long way...long ago, far away..." the younger girls face lit up into a grin, "I got it you're running away to join star wars! I hate to break it to you Tan, but it's not real," she teased.

"I wonder if college has an cappella group I can join. And no silly, Star Wars happened a long time ago in a galaxy far far away. It already happened." Tandy laughed. "But I am going away...this summer...don't tell me I have to tell you straight up. I thought you were good at riddles?"

"It's too early in the morning for riddles," Sue mock complained, "Ok ok, you're obviously very excited about going somewhere and you want me to come with you to Hawaii? no it's Ibiza, no it's Australia? We're going surfing in Australia right?" she asked with a grin, "You gotta give me a little more to work with than 'OMG' Tan." Sue told her friend waving her mobile in Tandy's direction.

Tandy sighed and pulled out the envelope that she was hiding behind her and handed it to Sue. "Open it."

Sue gave Tandy a curious look as she flicked open the envelope her eyebrows immediately shooting up into her hairline, "Europe?" she breathed unwilling to talk to loud incase this was a dream, "Where? What? Who? How'd you get these?"

"Graduation gift from Adrienne. Anywhere in Europe and with anyone of my choosing. What I am asking Sue..." She got onto her knees and clasp her hands together. "Would you go to Europe with this summer?"

"Oh Tandy!" Sue exclaimed clasping her hands over her chest like she'd seen in the movies, "Of course, yes a thousand times yes" she grinned at her friend before piping up, "So this means that going to Australia is definitely out then right?" she asked teasingly, sticking her tongue out at the other blonde.

Tandy grinned at her best friend, "I am pretty sure that Australia is not in Europe. Maybe next summer?"
