Amanda and Tandy meet up after magic class and talk about Dweller and his memories. A plan is formed to take a closer look at the memories.
Tandy had been in contact with Amanda since the demon incident - even going as far as sitting in on her magical class when the topic of demons came up. Like the one today. The young blonde sat in the back of the class listening in on the subject. She has agreed to meet Amanda after class and grab lunch with her; however, Tandy wasn't concentrating as she was doodling the runes she was seeing in her head.
It was the movement in the classroom that brought her attention up to the front of the class. Looking down at her notebook and was taken back from the amount of different symbols she was drawing, she wasn't sure if this was good or bad.
"Hey, Lightshow. You ready for food?" It was Amanda, having approached Tandy as she'd been distracted. The older witch was adjusting her book bag on her shoulder and looking at the other blonde expectantly.
"Yes I am ready." Tandy closed her notebook and stood up. "Thanks again for meeting with me Miss S." She stuffed her notebook into her bag and moved away from the desk. "And sorry, I have been distracted lately."
"There's a lot to be distracted about." Laurie and Hope, for one. Amanda would have cancelled class, except there was little for her to go on with the investigation, and her students needed guidance as much as any of the others. Take Tandy, for example. "Adrienne might have mentioned you're still having nightmares."
The blonde nodded, "Yes. Mr H has been helping a lot but it is the memories that are getting to me. I just haven't been completely myself since the incident."
"Considering you were possessed, you have a lot of work through." Amanda's expression was sympathetic. "Come on, my shout for lunch. You got anywhere you want to go?"
"Hamburger, fries and a shake?" Tandy looked over at the older female. "I am not picky at all."
"Right then, Catseye's place it is," Amanda replied with a grin.

Tandy slid into the booth as she pulled out her sketchbook. "I always liked this place. Probably in my top two."
Amanda nodded, tossing her leather jacket into the other booth and sliding in after it. "Cats has done really well here, even with the anti-mutant bollocks." She nodded at the sketchbook. "You mentioned something about runes?"
"Yea. They are a few that usually hang around especially during busy hours but I don't think anyone pays them any mind." Tandy opened the book and pushed it towards her. "I have been seeing more and more of them in my dreams. Don't know what any of them means. But this one." She pointed towards one of them. "I think it is a binding one."
Amanda leaned forward, pulling the sketchbook a little closer so she could examine the rune. "It's not one I know," she began. "But I have seen this before." She frowned. "The staff that Namor gave me, the one from the cave in Italy, it had the same rune on it. Most of these, actually."
"I have actually been dreaming a lot about that Staff too. There is a woman there, I think she was a spell caster, she used the staff and called down lightening from the sky. I think she was invoking her god or something? She used it to Dweller into his prison. It was...very painful to say the least." Tandy rubbed her side like she was the one that got hit by it.
Amanda noticed the gesture. "In these dreams... you're the Dweller, aren't you?" she asked quietly.
Tandy nodded slowly. "Yes. I am."
"So, what's going on in these dreams, what they did to the Dweller, they do to you instead." The witch paused a moment and then she asked, hesitating a little. "When you're dreaming... are you still yourself? In your head, I mean. Or is the Dweller in there too?"
"They..." She stopped when the waiter came and Tan ordered her hamburger and shake and Amanda a sandwich and fries. "Yes. I am myself. Well when I look at myself it isn't me. I am him, just in a different body. Apparently I wasn't the first human to be his host. But in the dreams they are saying that they are going to end his corruption and there is a lot of chanting and something about a light god. Other times it is killing, lot of killing with those Shades. Fear."
"Too bad I'm not a telepath - I think I could get a lot from you about this Dweller and where it came from." Amanda cocked an eyebrow. "Actually, that's a thought - would you be up for one of the 'paths to have a look at your dreams? Emma from my office, or maybe Doc Jean?"
"Uh..." Tandy had never been asked to have someone look at her dreams before. "Maybe Doctor Jean? I don't know Emma, unless it is Adrienne's sister Emma."
"The one and the same," Amanda confirmed. "Emma works with us at Snow Valley, which is why I thought of her - she knows more about demons and the like than most, working with me. But I can talk to Jean if you'd be more comfortable with her. I just figured having a 'path link the three of us up would make things a lot easier for us. I would know what to look for, and you wouldn't have to keep remembering it every time I need more info. I would have suggested Haller, but I think he's off somewhere at the moment. Haven't seen him around."
"I did not know this about older Miss Frost. I am okay with either. What would it be like, to link it up? Would it feel like we are really there?" Tandy asked curiously.
"More like a dream, or a memory," Amanda explained. "You'd be watching it with us, safe, instead of experiencing it. I think." Telepathy wasn't her strong suit. "But I can get Emma to explain that part. I'm more the mystical mojo person."
Tany nodded quietly as she thought about it. At least she won't be experiencing the memories alone and if Amanda and another telepath was there she knew she would be safe. "Okay. Let's do it."
