Tandy and Clint plan a Horror Movie Marathon, but before it can get started, Clint expresses some concerns to Tandy.

"Hmmm..." Tandy chewed on her lower lip as she went through the horror collection she had collected over the years. "What to watch - what to watch? Any preference?"

Clint's books were stacked on the coffee table in front of him, though he'd also turned to look at Tandy's collection of horror films. "How're you feeling about werewolves?"

"The man asks me how I feel about werewolves." She said outloud but in a teasing voice. She flipped through and found her werewolf selection, "How about The Wolfman?"

"Works for me," Clint said, smiling. "Chinese ordered, first movie picked - we're set for the afternoon."

"The start of a wonderful lazy Sunday. Or end of a weekend? I don''t know what it is but October just makes watching horror movies so much better." Tandy leaned back on the couch.

"Halloween," Clint supplied. "Halloween makes October the best month to watch horror movies." He pulled one of the books off the top of his stack and settled back on the couch, thumbing the corners of the pages for a moment as Tandy set up the DVD.

"Really? Homework?" Tandy shook her head as she got up to put the DVD into the player. "It is the weekend, Clint. Relax."

Clint smiled. "Yeah, but it's Sunday, which means I need to get some work finished." He actually didn't, since he'd finished his assignments on Friday to leave himself time for his scheduled time in the DR and to keep reading through all the old X-Men mission reports. But it gave him something to do with his hands. As the intro started playing for the movie, Clint glanced at Tandy, then asked, "So you and Julian - you guys are a thing now? Andre mentioned he saw 'Bowler' on a magazine last week."

"Should have done it on Friday then right?" Tandy looked over at her shoulder and smirked. "All work and no play is bad." She stood up and walked back at the couch. "Wha--?" Tandy blinked and then shook her head. "No." Taking a seat next to Clint.

"No?"

"Would you prefer if my answer is yes?" Tan looked over Clint with a raised eyebrow

Clint quirked a smile. "I don't mind either way, I was just curious. Well, and so was Andre, if I'm being honest. But if you two aren't actually dating, you're just - what? Hanging out? Messing with the paparazzi?"

"Hanging out. The paparazzi does all the rest really. I mean I guess we aren't helping the situation. I like hanging out with him. He is pretty funny."

"I guess that's one way of putting it," Clint said, his expression making it obvious 'funny' wasn't really the word he'd use to describe Julian.

Tan tilted her head to the side. "Do you not like him?"

The advertisements had finished and the DVD was stuck on the menu screen, but Clint didn't reach for the remote to urge it along. "I dunno. He just... kind of seems..." He paused, looking for the right word. "Like a caricature. There's nothing about him that I've seen, at least, that's even the slightest bit genuine."

"Is that so." Tandy turned from him and looked at the screen, tucking a few stray hairs out of her face. "Well, can't judge a book by its cover Clint. He could easily be hiding his true self behind his caricature nature. Kind of like me making bad decisions because I don't want to deal with the real problems. Yeah, kind of had a conversation about my current actions with Topaz a few weeks ago." She turned over at him. "He might seem over the top, but he is kind of cool."

"I guess I'm more a 'believe it when I see it' kind of person," Clint said. "And anyway, making a bad decision because you've been through a lot of awful stuff lately is different from... I dunno, acting the way he does, like he halfway owns the place and people should just automatically like him because he makes some corny jokes and throws some money around. You two aren't all that similar."

"We have different ways of dealing with this?" Tandy offered. "I don't know. Maybe he just acts differently around me. And he knows money doesn't impress me. Corny jokes are always a plus." She wrapped her arm with his. "I would hope not. You did date me."

Clint rested his chin atop Tandy's hair and frowned where she couldn't see. "Yeah, I did. I just don't... I dunno, I don't like the idea of you getting into trouble because of something he does, y'know? Some... weird scheme he decides would be a great idea and you get dragged along for whatever reason."

Tandy sighed slightly and lifted her head to look at him, "I am a big girl who has been training with Mr. W with knives for the last couple of months. And who says I would get into trouble because of something he does. Trouble is my middle name."

"Maybe you should work on changing your middle name to something like 'nope, no trouble here,'" Clint suggested, quirking a smile.

"Well technically my middle name is Reese, but we can go with that." She returned his smile. "And don't worry. I won't do anything that I really don't want to do."

"Right, miss 'trouble is my middle name.'" Clint shook his head. "I dunno. I just want you to be safe, y'know? I want everyone to be safe."

"It is. Ask Adrienne." Tandy shook her head as she chuckled. "Can't keep us all safe, Mr. Superhero. But it is the thought that counts."

"Gotta have a goal to strive for," Clint said, finally reaching for the remote control to hit 'play.'
