Wanda finds Jubilee burning the candle at both ends, the two decide alcohol is the answer.

"You haven't once tried to break into my kitchen since I have been back," Wanda stated from where she stood in the doorway, a plate of food in one hand and the other on her hip. "You do realize I stock those really awful orange chip things for you, right? God only knows I do not eat them."

"Yeah, sorry. Got a bit lost in this, and forgot to eat."

Jubilee pointed to her laptop screen as she sat back in her chair, rubbing sensation back into her neck. She looked...worn would probably have been the best description, her face thin from too little food, and the last few nights of not enough sleep.

She knew better then that, knew her metabolism would punish her for the missed meals but there was so much to do - more then she'd ever realized when Remy was the one handling most of their contacts.

"You didn't happen to bring any of them with you, did you? Cause like, I would figuratively kill someone for those things about now."

Jubilee grinned proudly, Marie-Ange and Doug had been pulling her up on her speech for awhile now. It'd been the first chance she'd had to use the new word.

Reaching down behind her, Wanda produced the mentioned bag of orange crack and tossed it at Jubilee. "Plus real food. And be careful, you know someone will get on your case if you get orange crumbs in the keyboard again. That stuff is impossible to get out." She carefully set the plate of food, most of it snatched from the mansion kitchen since honestly her own personal one was rather bare at the moment, down on a clear spot.

She was curious, though, about what would keep Jubilee from food. "What are you working on?"

Jubilee pushed her seat back and turned the monitor so Wanda could see the mess of boards, email accounts, and in one case, a drop-box account. It appeared to be a series of movie and television titles.

"Mostly just workin' on connectin' the dots while you guys work out the big picture. I figured our contacts booked it when we all went dark, or found better things to do with their time then reportin' to us. So like, I'm totally trying to figure out if any of them are still pingin' or want to come back to the fold. It's been kinda like battleship trying to hit them up, see what everyone needs, and totally make sure we're not about to be robbed blind, or like, killed if we walk in somewhere that's gone rogue. Damn peeps are even more paranoid then we are, and that's sayin' something. I'm beginning to see why Marie-Ange and you were like, totally exasperated with all my 'fly by the seat of my pants' stuff."

"Exasperated was one word for it," Wanda teased. A second chair was unearthed from a giant pile of folders and papers and Wanda sat down next to Jubilee. "Well, if it is any help, I managed to keep some of our magical contacts from, as you say, "booking it". It helped that I was actively waking them up in the middle of the night, cursing their mothers, to try and wrangle some information on Harkness out of them." She made a disgusted noise. "It never helped me, mind you, but at least those magical idiots of ours know we're alive. More than I can say for the others."

Wanda tapped her foot for a few seconds. "Is it that bad?"

"Like, not as bad as I thought it might be, most of the low level contacts are answerin' and willin' to work with us again. It's the higher level experts though, they've totally had better offers or just gone dark on us. If we can find some leverage, or a good enough deal I can convince them to come back, probably, or find new ones with skill sets we can use. The missing ones we're going to have to look for, send people out to try some of the old safe houses or dead drops."

Jubilee smiled wryly and shrugged, taking another big bite and then waved at all the maps and information laid out before them.

"We're totes gonna be fine tho, just a bit of startup work to do."

Her eyes traced the information that sprawled across almost all the surfaces of the room. "We do seem to manage to land on our feet. For the most part. But this will require work and not all of it on your shoulders, Jubilee. Spread the work around before you spread yourself too thin at the very beginning." Wanda stole one of the horrible orange things and ate it, making a face at the taste. "God only knows that we will be worked to the bone before too long. There's far too little of us and far too much work."

"So, in the interests of my continued well being, does this mean I can convince you to go to Harry's? I could totally use a drink right now."

Jubilee pulled a yellow trenchcoat off the back of her chair as she stood up. She'd found it in the closet of the suite she and Kurt now shared. It had been a somewhat odd feeling to discover it but it was her size, and her favorite color.

"Good to see that the jacket is still bright enough to be seen from space. Perhaps we should use it once to try to blind our enemies." It was a truly awful color but Jubilee, somehow, in some magical way. seemed to be able to pull it off. "We'll need to stop by my rooms so I can grab my jacket and purse."

Wanda unfolded herself from the chair and thought that if getting Jubilee to exit the darkened room was the only good deed she did for the day, she'd be pleased.

And possibly hung over come the morning...
