Bobbi and Warren bump into each other and discuss random XFI things. Backdated to February 24

It was a nice change of pace to get out of his office and out of the mansion. Although Warren absolutely appreciated the atmosphere of his adopted home,he also liked being the idea of being somewhat anonymous.

Of course, that changed immediately when he walked into Starbucks and saw one Bobbi Morse. Adrienne had pointed her out as someone working for XFI, but he hadn't had a chance to talk to her. This clearly had to be rectified.

Smoothly entering in line behind her, he said nothing until she made her drink order, at which point he interjected. "It's on me, Bobbi."

Turning around with the grande blonde roast the barista had just handed to her, Bobbi caught herself just before her momentum lead to spilling the drink on the person behind her who'd spooked her. "Gah, it almost was on you indeed." She switched the coffee cup to her other hand, shaking off a few drops of hot liquid that'd splashed on the first hand, then sucking some of the sweet, live giving beverage that was left on her thumb.

"Wait, I recognize you. You're from the mansion, right?" That was hardly a polite greeting but his name escaped her at the moment - if she had ever known it - from the near spilling of the hot beverage on the not-too-shabby-himself guy.

Warren gave her a charmed smile. "That I am, although, I'm not sure how I like being recognized as that, rather than for who I am." Lightly moving her aside, he handed his Amex to the waiting barista and gave his own order of a double Americano. "Shouldn't you be more observant, considering your job?," he teased, taking his own coffee in hand.

Bobbi narrowed her gaze just a little, as he'd been coy enough not to use his name. Her eyes scanned his credit card as he passed it over and she caught it there, thankfully. "Hey, this is my first one of the day," she replied, very carefully waving the cup ever so slightly for emphasis. "and I'm always fully caffeinated when I'm on the job I'll have you know, Mr. Worthington." She smiled and, after checking to make sure her free hand was coffee-free, offered it to him. "We haven't been formally introduced, however. Bobbi Morse, nice to meet you. And thanks for the coffee, you didn't have to do that."

Warren returned the handshake with a firm one of his own. "Miss Morse. A pleasure. Would you care to join me at a table, or do you have somewhere you need to be? I confess, I was looking to speak to you sometime this week."

"Thank you, I'm in no rush, so that'd be nice actually." She wandered to the end of the aisle to add cream and sugar to her liking, then followed Warren over to a free table. "What were you looking to speak to me about, might I ask?"

Warren also took the opportunity to add liberal amounts of sugar to his drink before sitting down. " I have recently been acquainted with Ms. Frost and I'm interested in XFI. Very interested. I was hoping you could provide me with more background information before I fully invest."

"I can certainly try, though anything I know I'm sure Adri knows and then some." If he wanted to pick her brain as well however she as more than willing to assist. "What can I help you with, exactly?"

Warren waved a hand in the air. "Anything and everything." He smiled deeply. "Honestly though, I think I just wanted to hear more your impressions on it. Do you enjoy it? What's the best part?"

"I do, a lot. I used to be a police officer but I honestly prefer what I'm doing here a hell of a lot more." There were a number of reasons for that but she glossed over those. "It's hard to say what the best part is, really. I like working with the team, and... I suppose it's the freedom of being able to take on clients that you want to help, you know?" Being able to pick things you want to do as opposed to having no choice at all was definitely a luxury she hadn't enjoyed prior to joining XFI.

That was interesting. "A police officer?" He was surprised by that. She didn't have the stereotypical look to her. In fact, she looked more like a model.

"You must have some stories. I am starting to look more and more forward to this new endeavour."

"I have my fair share, I suppose." Bobbi replied, partly surprised that he'd made no remarks about handcuffs as she'd half expected. "I don't think you'll be disappointed, Mr. Worthington." It was a little cliched to say they were the best at what they did, but she fully believed that was the case.

"Warren," he corrected her. "If we're to be...colleagues, then Warren will be more than appropriate." He smiled. "This is my first foray into this type of field. I'm not used to being a novice," he said suggestively. "What would be something I need to know so that I don't fail miserably and everyone gets what they want in the end?"

"Oh I assure you," he drawled, "I always do my homework. Would hate to ever leave anyone wanting for more when I could've done a good job in the first place."

"Warren." she echoed. It felt funny to say but she didn't really know him, after all. "You'll be fine, I'm sure. The best advice I could give you would be to do your homework, but given your business savvy I'm sure that's something you already do at any rate."

"Then I think you and I should get along just fine." Bobbi said, raising her coffee and tipping it slightly in salute to Warren.
