Later Warren and Sue plan how to deal with the situation.

It was a fantastic story, Warren had to admit, but he was up for helping Sue, no matter what. Laying on his chaise lounge, shirt off, wings out, he was bouncing a stress ball in the air while he tried to make sense of what she had told him. He didn't quite get it the first time around, and after a joint, he definitely wasn't all there.

"So. I know you just spent the last half hour talking to me, but to be honest, I was distracted by your chest. Want to try again?"

Sue stared at Warren, for once speechless in disbelief before she reached behind herself and threw a cushion at his head, "My life is being threatened by some people who wanna cut up all the mutants for their organs and you're making a pass at me?" she asked shaking her head, she might have been a little pleased, this was Warren Worthington after all but still mostly appalled! "Ok the spark notes, I ...acquired some data from an anti mutant guy. Turns out he and his friends have been cutting up mutants for their spare parts, they've got a mole in the police department who's covering them, oh and it seems they have some kinda political cover. So basically we have to figure out how to get rid of them, or I'm gonna have to change my identity and move to the middle of no where. And I wouldn't do well living there."

Catching the ball in one hand, he pointed a finger at her. "See, that's not what I heard the first time. It was blah blah mutant rights political whatever.". Sitting up, with his legs on either side of the chaise, he leaned forward, clasping his hands together. "Kidding. You're being too serious. I remember what you guys were saying the other day. We have evil coming at every direction and you're right in the middle because you stole something," he said bluntly. "Does anyone else know?"

"Umm, Julian knows the whole story, he's the one who put me onto you guys in the first place, and I guess teh rest of the team knows whatever they've picked up going through the records and stuff." Sue allowed. "Which is a lot more than I knew to be honest. I mean the guy has an organization, he has some kinda police mole? I thought he was jsut some anti mutant activist."

"They're never just anti mutant activists," Warren pointed out. He thought some more about what Sue had said. It was true that XFI was on the case, but the mind-numbing paperwork wasn't for him. He'd skimmed a few documents, more to appease Adrienne than anything else, but it wasn't for him. He did enough reading at work. "So. Police mole. We can work with that." Warren's eyes lit up as he bounced to his feet. "A sting! We can lure out the mole, and in doing so, reveal more of your enemy's plan, foothold, whatever. You can play the damsel in distress." A pause. "Or I could. But I'm not as pretty as you."

"Well I know that now but," Sue shrugged helplessly, "I honestly thought he was just a loud mouth. Maybe upto meeting someone and throwing rocks but vivisections? That was waaaay out of left field." The blonde shook her head, "You've been watching way to many detective shows, you know that. Ok so sting," the blonde cocked her head to one side in consideration, "I don't think that I'd work. They already know what I look like, we need somebody brand new. Someone they've never seen before," the blonde's eyes sunk down to the floow down towards the X-factor offices.

Warren watched Sue for a while. For all her pomp and bluster, she was still a 24 year old girl who had been sheltered. This was probably her first time being caught, and Warren hoped it was the last time too. "We're going to figure this out. XFI is on the case, and I'll have you know, Jessica and Lorna are actual detectives. Not pretend like me. I'm only in it for the dames and fedoras."

Although now that he thought about it, he did like to know what was going on at all times...

He snapped his fingers. "How about we use WI? I can assign internal affairs or make up someone to deal with. I mean, it's probably the only time we'll be able to use my company for this, but I'm happy for it. Or one of the umbrella companies." Warren waved a hand. "Whatever. Doesn't matter. Anyways. It's a thought?"

"I like it, no-one would ever suspect you of being involved in something like this so no-one would doubt it. But we need someway to absolutely discredit them, so no-one ever believes any of the stories they're going to tell the police..." the blonde looked up at Warren and a grin slowly started to spread over her face. "You're gonna have the police administer a blood test to their target, if it's false who's gonna believe anything they say?"

"Like a DNA sample?" Warren thought it over before nodding slowly. "I suppose that could work, but what would that prove?"

"You've seen how people will always throw around accusations when they're caught, we need to protect you and the plant from that," Sue explained, "besides it doesn't hurt to discredit them and protect your company at the same time If there accusations are proven false in public Worthington Industries will come out of it smelling of roses, actually it'd probably be in a better position than when we started, an apologetic police force and mayor and the like. You could probably swing that to something more for one of your benefits or something. Never hurts to have a favor or two to call in."

"And I do love favours," he mused. With a swift nod, he smiled. "Alright. Let's do this.". And then he remembered something. "We should probably talk to Adrienne. I don't need her mad at me. Again."

"Again?"Sue arched a brow at Warren, "Wait, what are we talking about here?" The blonde crossed her arms and gave Warren an inquiring look, "What exactly have you been getting upto down there Mr Worthington?"

"Let's talk about that later," he brushed off. "We have a sting to plan! I'll get the fedoras!"
