Lorna and Alex || On the Road (Day One)

Lorna and Alex leave for California. Lorna is already unamused. It's going to be a long trip.



"Okay so we are definitely not putting three Fall Out Boys albums on our playlist but thanks Spotify," Alex said as he flipped through his phone, trying to find good road trip music. That was his job while Lorna drove. "Any thoughts, Lor?"

"Just put my two favorite songs from Fall Out Boys and we will be good." Lorna didn't look away from the road. They had decided to go across country back to California, back to their house that they hadn't been to since the beginning of the year. "Add some Alison's songs."

"No offense to Alison, she seems very nice and eager, but I don't think her music is my type." Still, Alex put Lorna's songs on and searched for Alison. "Very bubble-gummy. Very Taylor Swift."

Lorna couldn't help but laugh, "Well if we are going to drive for a couple of days we need all kind of music. Can't keep listening to the same song more than 5 times. It will drive one insane." She reached over for her drink, "What songs did you put in so far? And don't say, 'It is a surprise'."

"But it is a surprise," Alex complained, pouting as he added a couple of Alison's songs. "Just trust my judgment Lor. I promise, you won't be disappointed."

"Uh huh." Lorna shook her head. "Put in some Queen in there and we will call it even."

"Fiiiiiiine you can have your Queen." Alex gave a mock sigh as he searched for Queen and added a few songs to the playlist. "Okay. Okay I think we have enough to at least start. I'll add more later. Ready?"

"Ready for this party to start? Yes." Lorna smirked as she made her way unto the freeway for their cross country adventure.

Alex hit play, and My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark by Fallout Boys started playing. He grinned at Lorna, clearly proud of himself for song choices.

Lorna glared at him from the corner of her eye but pressed forward. It was going to be a long drive.
