Sue, Julian and Hope watch the Hammer Industries press conference and ruminate on recent events.

It was the pass conference of, well at least the week. Justin Hammer puglia spiraling to explain this latest debacle. The press coriolis was abuzz, as was the tech world. Rumours abounded, as they always did at an event like this, no one quite knew what had happened just that it inboxes the police and the district attorney. Sue did know what had happened, which is why she had made a point to arrive early to reserve seats at the back and out of the way. She didn't want anyone to notice them, the Keller and Storm heirs being present was not a story she wanted too deal with, but she had to be here, herself, to be sure that everything was wrapped up properly.

Hope shook her head ruefully. "And the press is all eating it up like candy. And of course Hammer did not know..." The last bit was added sarcastically. "I bet he knew about this. And how lucky I was that the idiot sung such a nice song."

"Of course he did, but he's off the game-board now," Julian smirked despite his best efforts not to. "Too much press watching his every move, too much risk in exposing himself like this again...particularly when he knows we'll be watching him, closely."

Sue waved her hand airily, "The press aren't worth anything in a situation like this, they're good but we grew up learning how to play game with them. They rarely find out anything we don't want them to, otherwise jsut imagine how much trouble we'd have gotten into growing up. Give him a few weeks and I'm sure that Justin Hammer will be back on fine form scheming away with the best of them.

"Why am I not surprised? Hopefully he will at least stay away from Keller Industries for quite some time." Hope turned to Julian. "What happens now Monday? Just back to work for me?"

Julian hesitated, then sighed, "You still need to get cleared by security, so it may not be Monday- but we'll get you back in soon...I mean, if it were up to me, you'd be back today, but we need to keep things on the up-and-up."

"As long as we get things sorted out. Hopefully the delay will give the rumor mill some time to calm down. I bet that one is going at full speed."

"It always will for the slightest thing, the best thing you can do is just ignore it until it gets bored and fixates on the next big thing. That's the one thing we can count on with the rumor mill, for you and him, the rumor mill will move on and loose interest." Sue pointed out.

Her best friend was not listening to her platitudes though, his phone was already out of his pocket texting rapidly. Julian paused for a moment to read over his message, then hit send, "That should do it." He turned to Hope and smiled, mischievously, "That should speed things along."

Hope eyed Julian suspiciously. "What did you just do?" Turning to Sue she commented: "I have learned that look on his face is not a good thing..."

"You'll find out soon enough," he winked. Grabbing his coat, with a flourish, Julian rose and took one last look at their beleaguered adversary- "One thing is for sure, if he ever does try something like this again on any of us, I'll make him very sorry." With an insincere smile, he looked down at his companions and excused himself.

"He just loves to be enigmatic doesn't he," Sue noted with a fond smile as her phone beeped, as she glanced at the message on her phone the blonde's face. Her jaw slowly fell as her eyes widened, as the mirth drained away from her face "Julian William Keller, you're a dead man." She hissed at her departing friend as she stalked after him.
