Tabitha goes out to admire Alex's new skateboard ramp. Backdated like whoa (8/23/15).

She saw it from a window in the mansion, but didn't believe her eyes. So she was nearly at a sprint when she skidded to a stop in front of the new... AWESOMENESS.

The "awesomeness" in question was, if Alex said so himself, a rather impressive skateboard ramp. Or the start of at least. He had the frame all built, now he just needed to get the boards put in. It would be pretty amazing when he was done.

At the moment he was sitting on the other side of the frame, draining a water bottle. He grinned when he saw Tabitha run up. "What's up little person?"

She let the "little person" pass with minimal nose-wrinkling. She was just too fascinated by his project. "You do that skateboard stuff, aright? Is this one of those rampythings?" she asked eagerly.

Alex laughed, finishing his water tossing it back into his bag. "Yeah, it is. Not the best ramp in the world or anything but it'll do the job when I'm done with it."

Tabs scuffed her toe on the ground, grinding the rubber into the cement. "Do you, maybe, give lessons?" she asked.

Alex was surprised - and amused. "You wanna learn?"

She glared up at him and planted her fists on her hips. "Yeah, don't think I can?"

"Hey, I never said that." He grinned, hopping up. "Just hang out here for a few, alright?"

He hopped and ran back to the mansion, returning about ten minutes with two skateboards and a couple helmets - one of which he plopped right down on Tabitha's head. "You don't have a parent that's gonna get ticked at me if you get a little scraped up, do you?"

"Hey, it's always worth asking." Alex fixed his helmet on his head and handed over one of the boards for Tabitha to take. "We'll have to get you knee pads and elbow pads and stuff, I don't have any small enough for you. But I can at least teach you how to stand on one for today."

She raised her eyebrows doubtfully. "Standing? That's it?"

"Hey, don't knock it. Standing is important," Alex said with a smirk. "If you're not standing you're falling over and cracking your head open. And that's no fun."

She blinked up at him. "I'm pretty sure I have a roommate who wouldn't notice the difference."

"Well then we won't be teaching that roommate how to skateboard, now will we?" Alex grinned. "Ready to start?"

Tabs jumped to her feet, hands on hips. "Let's do it," she said with a huge grin.

Alex had to laugh at her enthusiasm. He buckled the helmet for her before putting on his own helmet and putting down on a board. "Alright. Show me how you climb on."

Tabitha buckled on her helmet and proceeded to attempt to concuss herself despite it. Alex was a saint, really.
