Arthur, Bobbi, Jessica, and Warren go out for a few beverages after work in celebration of Bobbi's birthday earlier that week. They commandeer the jukebox and put on whatever they want.

They'd been at the bar for a little while, Bobbi thought, but she wasn't sure quite how long it'd been. There were a few glasses in front of her on the table so she knew it'd been a few rounds or so at least. She lifted her glass to her mouth and frowned when she saw how little there was left before finishing it off.

"Ok, so who's round is it this time? I think it's mine." She looked around at her workmates who'd come out with her for birthday drinks.

"Don't worry about it, Bobster! I got it!" Jessica called from across the table. Her body was a bit more tolerant to alcohol than the average person, so she was just starting to get buzzed. She flagged down the bartender or waitress or whoever. "Another round for my friends please, thank you." She stated with a grin. "Arthur, Lord Luck of my heart, how are you holding up over there?" She asked with a wink and a hand through her hair.

She got a gigantic, perhaps already inebriated and a little stupid drunk, smile for this compliment, but Arthur's condition was likely due to the number of glasses (most untouched) sitting around him at the bar. Apparently being lucky meant free, random drinks. What it did not mean was a high alcohol tolerance. "I'm great! Bobbi-days are the birth best days! Although I bet I could get her the whole bar if I put my mind to it!"

He said this last part like it was a grand idea.

"Hey now," Warren said, his arm casually draped over the back of his chair. "Buying expensive and random things is kind of my thing." Helping himself to one of the many free drinks Arthur had, he grinned. "Now tell me Bobbi, what do you want for your birthday other than hanging out with us? I mean, I know that's all you really wanted, but with all our powers combined, we could even summon Captain Planet."

Bobbi actually snorted a little when she laughed at that, which she attributed to the amount she'd had to drink. "Honestly, just some time to relax is all I really want, which I'm getting now thanks to you guys." She helped herself to one of the drinks as well, tipping it to all of them in turn. "Thanks again by the way, if I haven't said it already." She might have but again, drinks.

Looking over she realized the jukebox was free for the taking, and Bobbi jumped to her feet and headed over. "Score!" She fished through her pockets for change, slapping several quarters down on the machine once she withdrew her hand. "Looks like we've got control of this thing now. Any requests?"

"Something we can dance to! Plleeeaasssee!? I wanna dance! Warren, you wanna dance! How about you Arthur!?" Jessica called as she bounced up behind Bobbi. "Or maybe we should make them dance together, eh Bobbi?" She joked with a grin as she leaned over her co-worker and friend's shoulder.

"Yes, exactly!" Bobbi squealed and clapped her hands together. "That is the perfect idea, and it's my birthday so you totally have to do it." She nodded because those were the rules after all. "Let's see, what would be a good song... ooh, this will do nicely." Putting a quarter in, she punched a few numbers and grinned as The Village People's YMCA started playing loudly, then she stared at Arthur and Warren expectedly.

Arthur, with the look of someone putting together a plan very quickly, stood and pointed at Warren. "You can be the construction worker. I'll be the police man," and then, sheepishly, "But none of us will be the Indian chief because I will not have this night haunt me in the form of 14 year olds with excellent intentions."

He clapped his hands, dismissing the idea immediately, and began belting loudly as he went to join the women, "YMCA! There's! No! Need to be! Unhappy!"

Warren laughed at the spectacle in front of him, but no amount of drugs could ever get him dancing to the Village People. Instead, he got out his phone and started videotaping, making sure that he uploaded the finished product to facebook.

Getting up, he headed to the jukebox, and thought for a moment. "If disco is what you want...". ‎ Cueing the next song, he weaved his way to the crowd and grinned. "This is for you, Jess," he said, as Gloria Gaynor started singing. "You can survive anything."

"Hell yeah!" Jessica called as she began to boogie her pert ass off. She practically floated off of the floor as she danced over to the table and took another long draw off of her beer. "Woooo!" She called as she danced her way back over to Bobbi. "So how's it going, Bobbi? Enjoying yourself so far? Glad we did this. It feels like forever since I've had an excuse to party and even longer since I've been in good company." She offered with a wink at Bobbi and a flirtatious smile in both Arthur and Warren's direction.

"I am, and I'm really glad we did too. Thanks for coming out, you guys." She lifted her bottle to clink against Jess's in celebration, then lifted the same towards Arthur and Warren in salute before taking a long sip from it. "It really has been too long, we should do this more often. Why don't we do this more often?"

Arthur chuckled good-naturedly, and then stated what he felt to be so totally obvious, "Because birthdays are only once a year!"

"That they are," Warren exclaimed, throwing his arms over Jessica's and Bobbi's shoulders. "And since I'm a benevolent boss, no work tomorrow. Let's head back to my penthouse -- I have a birthday cake for Bobbi. A special one, if you know what I mean." He grinned. "And if that's too subtle, then it's full of drugs. Who's in?"

"I think I'm gonna bow out. Love you, Bobster. Be safe, have fun!" Jessica stated. She pulled the blonde into a brief hug before she walked over to Warren and poked her finger into his chest. "And YOU....behave. Got it? What about you, Arthur? You in or out?" She asked.

"I'm already high on life, Jess," Arthur responded with a stupid grin matched with a set of waggly eyebrows directed toward Warren and Bobbi, "And while blondes have more fun, I bet three would be a crowd with what you two have planned."

To emphasize this, he waggled his eyebrows again.

Warren gave a subtle shrug. Everyone assumed he was sleeping with Bobbi, even though that wasn't the case. "That's fine with me. Come on, Bobbi -- tonight, you sleep on gold embossed sheets."

"Hah, and that's not - hic," Bobbi started, pausing for her hiccups to reside, "not a euphemism or nothing, he actually does have sheets like that. It's not slang for like fancy downers or something." She cocked her head to one side and squinted at Warren. "Is it? No, it's... no?" The talk of bed sheets was reminding her how sleepy he was, and she yawned as she waved to everyone and headed off with Warren. He'd likely make fun of her for that in the morning.
