Jun. 25th, 2003 11:27 pmWednesday, early evening – Energy Control class
Alison leaned on the wall outside the classroom, listening to sounds inside as Scott spoke to another of the students. She'd been up to working on solid light effects since last week – and not getting much progress done, which she's expected frankly, no matter how frustrating it really was. Understanding the very basics principles behind the concept was one thing, but then applying it to her own power and putting it into action was another entirely.
Of course, this would have not been that much of an issues, were it not for the fact that she couldn't even generate a decent laser for some reason, today. After seeing how badly she was doing with things she'd managed without problems the previous week, Scott had mercifully put a stop to things.
Ali, your mind's not on this. Take a break, rest up. You're probably still off because of the accident.
She sighed, letting her head fall back against the wall to stare at the ceiling, not really seeing it at all. She stayed there a bit, torn between getting something to eat or just plain heading straight upstairs to bed. Not being able to decide if a peanut butter and jam sandwich was tempting was usually a pretty good sign she ought to try and sleep first, and with a resigned sigh she headed for the stairs.
