Sharon has a masked encounter.

Sharon shook her head as she stepped outside and securely locked the door behind her. The clinic in Hell's Kitchen had run late today, so it as already dark outside. And she still had to head back to the Claremont Medical Center first. With a small sigh, she started in the direction of the subway.

Since he didn't technically have a day job anymore, Matt had plenty of time to patrol Hell's Kitchen and get his Daredevil on. He was also trying to get Nelson and Murdock off the ground with little luck so far. There was a lot more to having your own business than he had been prepared for. Perching on a roof top, he enjoyed the sounds of the city as the sun began to set.

Sharon had almost reached the stairs when a something like a cry sounded from one of the nearby alleys. Pausing, she listened and there it was again, though no one around her seemed to pay any attention. "What the hell?" She muttered as she started making her way to the entrance of the alley.

Matt had learned to distinguish between the cries of pain and the ones from pleasure a long time ago. This was definitely one for help. Crossing the street using his billy club and parkour, he was over to the alley almost immediately, four heartbeats guiding him easily. The first two were from big men, excited, but not panicked. The third was definitely a panicking younger woman. And the fourth, he paused, unsure.

"Leave her alone." Sharon paused as she came upon the sight of one hulking man standing over a young woman in a waitress uniform. He was standing very very close, with his companion only a few feet away. "Move along and you won't get harmed."

The guy laughed and Matt shook his head. "That's not polite," he informed the man, emerging from the shadows as he threw his billy club and hit the man on the head, knocking him back. He hadn't thrown it hard enough to incapacitate him intentionally. "She's right. You leave the girl alone and you don't get harmed. And if this lady can't stop you, I can," he growled.

Sharon moved to stand between the other man and the young waitress, nonplussed by the sudden appearance of a masked man. "Hope you haven't anything more to say?" She addressed the man who had been quiet so far. She stepped aside when he rushed at, grabbing one hand and quickly pulling him in a choke hold. Her enhanced strength held him in place easily. "Guess you aren't much smarter then your buddy."

Sharon had the situation firmly in hand so Matt leaned against the wall watching. "How's it feel getting your ass kicked by someone half your size?" He asked the thug randomly. "Admittedly, she's well trained, but then so am I." Without warning, he clotheslined the kid as he tried to run away since Sharon was paying more attention to the other one.  "No no. Play time isn't over," he slammed the kid into the wall.

"Got anything to tie them up?" Sharon pushed him in the masked man's direction, keeping the young waitress in her sight. "Don't worry, you are safe now..."

Tying them up? Did he look like Spiderman? Either of the Spidermans? The guy he had clotheslined was knocked out, the other just cowered. "Take your friend and do yourselves a favor. Go tell the cops what you did," he instructed, voice a growl. "And if I ever find out you pulled any shit again, you're done, got it?"

The kid nodded, crabwalking backwards to get his friend. "Yes, sir," he stammered, then glanced over at Sharon, "Ma'am," he hastily amended.

"I bet they'll be out there tomorrow again." Sharon hissed as she made her way to the young waitress and knelt down next to her. "Are you okay?

The girl lifted her head, blood dripping from a cut lip and a nasty bruise on her cheek. "Not really..."

"Maybe," Matt allowed, "Maybe they learn something from this. Either way, I'll be here tomorrow night too. And the night after. And I won't be so nice if they're causing problems again." People did deserve another chance....but not an infinite amount.

"You're a doctor," he said to Sharon. "Can you take care of her? She's going into shock, too."

"Just a nurse, but I can look after her." Sharon shrugged of the jacket she had been wearing and tucked it around Bonnie, before finding her wrist to check her pulse. "We are only two blocks away from the Claremont ER. We can go there." When Bonnie protested, Sharon leaned forward. "Better to have you checked out. We can also call the cops from there."

Turning back to the masked man, she commented: "I guess you'd prefer not to be named in the report?"

Oh, right. Nurse. Damnit. "Ideally," he agreed dryly. "Take good care of her, Sharon."

Sharon? He knew her name? It didn't matter though as Sharon helped Bonnie to her feet and supported her out of the alley. "Will do. And thanks for the help." She added as she made her way back to the street.

Disappearing into the shadows on the roof, Matt didn't go too far. He wanted to make sure Sharon got Bonnie to the hospital safely. Then he would continue his rounds in Hell's Kitchen.
