Lorna and Warren -- High Times
Sep. 3rd, 2017 10:47 am Warren and Lorna go out for a flight, and talk about nothing in particular. For once, Warren is appropriate and Lorna isn't.
are the dirty one." Lorna pointed out.
"So?" He soared down a little bit, and then up again, his wings beating lazily in the air. It was nice to get a good workout, he rarely did these days. "I don't see what your point is. My point is that you're an ingénue, who uses it to her advantage."
Lorna flew down next to him, "Aww Warren. You think I am innocent? That is so sweet." She gave him the biggest grin she could muster.
Warren rolled his eyes. " Yes, yes, you're innocent, I'm a monster. I wonder if people worry about you spending time with me. I could be a bad influence, you know."
"If it means anything, I don't think you are a monster and I enjoy our flying times together. I don't normally have a flying partner and I am happy to have one."
"There's other flying people though, aren't there? I mean, I think there are." Warren had to stop and wonder about that. "Wait, there's that redhead? Angel? I have never spoken to her that I can remember but I think she can fly..."
"Yeah, but there is only one Warren." Lorna looked over at him with a smirk before taking a turn and shot up higher into the air.
"I'm technically the third, you know," he called out after her, pumping his wings for more speed.
"Are the first two Warren's better to hang out with?" She called down to him.
"God, no!" With one more pump, he managed to get up to the same level as her, although he'd sacrificed a lot of speed and energy. Puffing a little, he shook his head. "According to Kevin, my grandfather was a tool. According to me, so's my father. And according to the rest of the world, I make three. So."
Lorna slowed down just a bit, "Who cares what the rest of the world says. They don't know Warren the Third and the fact that he likes to fly at night."
Warren gave a true smile, and hoped Lorna was blinded by it. "Very few people can say they actually know me. I think you're up there though."
"Well I feel honored." Lorna smirked, "Last one to the next cloud buys the hot chocolate?"
“Done”
