Log: Newlyweds

xp_logsLorna and Alex are on their way to start their honeymoon. And are being everything you expect from newlyweds
Lorna sat at the airport waiting to board the plane, there was a slight delay but it wasn't too much of a delay to make a stink about it. They had decided to go to a the coastal town of Bundoran in Ireland for their honeymoon because of the lure of it being a great surfing haven especially during these peak months. It was going to be a 6 1/2 hour flight to Dublin and then a 3 hour car ride to the little coastal town. At least they got first class tickets, so more room for them. "Thanks." Lorna perked up when Alex came back with their coffee and some bagels.
"Sure." Alex yawned, flopping into the seat and taking a long sip of coffee. He planned on sleeping on the plane, but damn he wasn't sure if he was going to make it. They'd been up early to leave the mansion. "Any word on the flight?"
"The crew just arrived, so they will begin boarding in about 20 minutes or so. Sucks that other delays causes more delays." She took a sip of her own coffee and sat up to stretch a bit. "But at least they didn't cancel it. Excited?"
"Yeah." Alex grinned, tugging Lorna in for a kiss. "This is gonna be great."
"I've never been to Ireland, I am so looking forward to a real vacation." She kissed Alex back. "With my new hubby."
Alex’s grin widened. “We’re married,” he said giddily.
"Finally." Lorna teased. "Even after knowing everything there is about me, you are still so accepting. How did I get so lucky?"
“I mean, you’re the first girl who didn’t run screaming when I said my dream was to climb Mount Everest,” Alex teased back. “I knew I had to lock you down.”
"I still don't know why girls would scream. I mean, who wouldn't want to climb Mount Everest? Worth it. Kind of glad you taught me how to surf, otherwise we wouldn't be going to Bundoran."
“Well we could have gone for other reasons. But surfing is awesome.” Alex wrapped an arm around Lorna, tugging her close.
"There is still plenty of time to actually make that dream a reality." Lorna instead moved over to Alex's lap, careful of her bagel and coffee. Her nose tickled his. "Maybe in the next year or two."
Alex grinned, wrapping his arms around her waist. “Yeah. We’ve got all the time in the world, huh?”
"Until death do us part." Lorna reached over and knocked on wood after putting her bagel in her mouth to hold it and taking it back out again after she was done. "Don't want to jinx our chances." She whispered.
“Good plan,” Alex whispered back, giving her a kiss. “Never know when the world is going to end.”
"Yeah, but always good to plan ahead. No matter what."
'Flight to Dublin is now boarding First Class passengers.'
"Oh that is us." Lorna gave Alex a quick kiss and got off his lap. "Finally."
Alex grinned, grabbing their carry-ons and hopping up. “After you Mrs. Summers.”
