After a bit of work, Sharon finally has a weapon she can use.

The little-used lab had been turned into an improvised shooting range and Sharon eyed the case Sue was opening with definite interest. "Sounds like you've put a lot of work into it."

"Well I mean I don't wanna brag but...if you're gonna do a job, then you might as well do it right," there was a definite air of smugness around the blonde as she nimbly unlatched the case, her movements unhurried, flowing with the surety of long practice. "The tech isn't exactly revolutionary but it's an interesting new touch, I think I'm gonna be able to get quite a lot of use out of this one." A smile tugged at the corner of her lips as she gently set a pistol on the top of the case. "Well, something small enough to come as a surprise, but carrying the stopping power you wanted too."

Sharon examined the weapon before her with interest, noting how close it resembles a normal gun, except for a very different looking cartridge. "So tell me about it." She added as she picked up the gun, carefully feeling it's weight before gripping it in the proper position. "What are the important specs?"

"I've kept it light enough that you could hide it behind your back, or in a holster without it dragging down on you too much," The blonde took over the gun, slipping one of the ammo clips into the gun, racking it and swinging the gun around to point down the range. "A clip of 10 shots, and accurate out to 50m."

"Ten shots is a good number." Sharon allowed. "What about the ammo?" She picked up one of the loose 'bullets' from the case and examined it closely. Somehow it held a small amount of blue liquid. Quickly she fired of the question that immediately came to mind: "That's the dendrotoxin, right? How strong is it? And how long does it put people out for? Any other injuries when hit, like bruising?"

Sue pulled a spare bullet out o the pack, twirling it between her fingers for a moment, the smooth metallic cylinder slipping between her digits. "Well there's always going to be some bruising, it is a bullet coming out of a gun, but the amount of bruising, well that depends entirely on how close to them you are." The blonde moved closer to the older woman, her fingers forming a gun shape as she pressed them against Sharon's side. "From here, you're looking at a big bruise, but if you hit them at a medium range it wouldn't be quite so bad.Same with the strength of the Toxin, it'll last for a good few hours if you hit me, but Mr Kane would shake it off faster."

"If not almost immediately." Sharon picked up the gun again, removed the cartridge and turned around to face the dummy, settling into a proper stance. Carefully taking aim, she dry fired twice, getting a feeling for the weapon. Nodding with satisfaction, she turned back and picked up the cartridge. "Anything else I need to know before I take this for a good test spin?"

The blonde shook her head, stepping back to gesture towards the temporary shooting range which had been set up. "For now you'll need to get you ammo from me, and try not to burn through it too fast, the chemicals aren't easy to get my hands on just out of the blue, other than that, you can't use it with a silencer or suppressor, they'll end up breaking the bullet on launch and you get nothing more than a fine mist right in front of your face, it won't knock you out but you'll end up feeling a little light headed."

"Gotcha." Sharon nodded. "And I don't plan to need a silencer or suppressor for this gun at least..." Reaching over for the safety equipment that Sue had brought, she quickly slipped on the safety glasses and hearing protecting, waiting till Sue had done the same before sliding the cartridge in place. Turning to the target, Sharon once more took the proper stance, letting fire once, then twice in quick succession.

The gun made a soft phuut sound, a recognizable retort although not as loud as a real gun as two blue splotches appeared on the target. "You'll probably need to train yourself out of the habit of double tapping," Sue pointed out as she gestured towards the marked paper. "You're not dealing with bullets anymore, these are chemical warheads, the payload of two might end up hurting someone with a compromised system, or putting them out for longer than expected. I could tone down each bullet, but then, if you miss one it might not knock someone out when you hit them."

"Got it." Sharon nodded again as she lowered the weapon and switched the safety back on. "For what average weight did you calculate the dendrotoxin? That's one situation I can think of I might need to double tap from the start. A big guy won't go down so easily."

"I weighed it up with enough to put down an 80 kilo man for a few hours. Anything more than that is going to be up to you but then," The blonde grinned and reached up to tuck one strand of hair behind her ear, "You're the medical professional, I'm just an engineer who makes it. Dosing the patients I leave entire up to you."

"Hmmm. Is there any research on that? Dosages and side effects?" Sharon frowned a bit. "Protection is important, but I'd not wanna hurt anymore who might be hit by a stray shot. Or open myself or the mansion up for prosecution."

For a moment all Sue could do was stare at the woman in surprise, "Sweetie...you're holding in your hand something that probably falls under chemical weapon rules, standing in the probably illegal research lab of a very illegal paramilitary group. If you get caught with it, I really don't think prosecution is going to be something we need to worry about." A teasing smile pulled up the young woman's lips as she inclined her head, "There probably are test studies, but do you wanna come break into SHIELD HQ with me?"

Sharon rolled her eyes at Sue. "Dammit Sue, I'm a nurse and a soldier, not a thief."

The blonde smirked, reaching over to pat Sharon on the head, "There there, I mean we can't all be perfect now can we?" she teased playfully. "Everyone has things they can improve on."

"I guess those tales I heard about you being a master hacker were overrated then? I mean, if you need to break in?" Sharon returned Sue's smirk.

"Sure, no problem, you just give me your laptop so if Shield catch up to us, and they always catch up in the end," then they'll come after you. I mean, we could break into somewhere else with a supercomputer, and use that the break into shield I guess, a few universities have that kinda mainframe..."

"I see..." Sharon smirked again. "One overrated master hacker here, I guess." Suddenly she twirled, switching of the safety of the weapon and fired of three shots at each of the mannequins standing at the end, hitting each on precisely the same spot on the torso. "I think I'll stick to this... and nursing/'medic'ing."

"One master hacker and engineer who happens to have managed to avoid getting caught where lesser mortals have failed," Sue corrected waggling a finger in Sharon's direction. "That's an important distinction, and don't you forget it." The playful smile on her lips took the sting out of her words as she pushed herself up, idly smoothing down her slacks as she bobbed her head at Sharon, "Thank you very much for using Storm Weapons manufacturing and thumbing our nose at SHIELD. If we can be of any further service, please do let me know...I'll be sending you my invoice then."

"Thanks Sue. Helps to have this around." Sharon engaged the safety again and ejected the cartridge. "Time to hunt down a good holster for this."
