Bobbi and Sharon enjoy unhealthy food while Bobbi notices Sharon is extremely jumpy.

"So, you go going for a burger or pulled pork today?" Sharon pushed open the door to the dinner. "Looks like they have an offer with an extra rasher of bacon for half price." She added as she scanned the room, quickly taking in where all the people were seated and where the exits were.

"Mmm, bacon," Bobbi added, following Sharon inside. "Probably a burger, then, I think?" She could add some of that extra bacon to the burger and, man, she was already pretty hungry, talking about extra bacon was just making it worse. She scanned the room out of habit as well, and saw that Sharon looking around as well. That wasn't unusual to her, given that she'd done the same thing. "There's a booth open over there," she said, nodding towards the free table and heading towards it.

"I'm not in the mood for bacon, so I'm gonna go for the pulled pork..." Sharon replied as started to make her way to the booth nearby Bobbi had indicated."Okay if I take this side?" Before Bobbi could reply, Sharon slit in the place that offered her her the best overview of the diner. "I think I'll have a milkshake with that."

"That sounds pretty tasty too," she admitted. Bobbi looked out for a waitress to flag down, because damn. Blonde warrior needed food badly. She blinked at Sharon's question, then shrugged her shoulders. "Someone's particular today, aren't we?" she joked, but wondered why her friend was acting that way. "Oh man, yes. A milkshake sounds perfect."

Sharon smirked knowingly. "Let me guess... chocolate?" She addressed the waitress that had come over: "Two chocolate milkshakes, one pulled pork sandwich with a side of fries and ..." She glanced over her friend, neatly sidestepping the remark.

"Hamburger and fries, with the extra bacon," she finished, nodding toward the special advertised in the window. "Please and thank you." Bobbi smiled and handed her menu over to the waitress, then turned her attention back to Sharon as she crossed her arms on the table. "So, what's up with you today? You seem extra... attentive."

"Who? Me? Guess I'm just jumpy today." Sharon shrugged. "Weird dream or something that has had me a bit out of whack for most of the morning." She glanced over Bobbi's shoulder, quickly changing the topic. "Look at those milkshakes." The two chocolate milkshakes looked thick and creamy, topped with whipped cream, marshmallows, more chocolate and a red and white stripped straw to finish it of.

She turned her head and gave a low whistle in appreciation of the majestic malted beverages. "They look good enough to eat," Bobbi said, turning back and giving Sharon a wink. "Sorry to hear about the dream though, that sucks. Anything you wanna talk about?"

"Nah, it'd only make it worse. Thanks for offering though." Sharon accepted the milkshake and immediately took a long pull through the straw. Her eyes rolled skywards at the intense, creamy chocolate flavor. "One for enhanced metabolisms." She marked in low voice once the waitress had left. "Else I'd not be able to do this whenever I wanted. Same with those." The smells coming from the tray the waitress was carrying were just as good as the milkshake had been.

"Truth," Bobbi said sotto voce in reply, gently clinking her glass against her friend's. She removed her knife and fork from the napkin wrapped around both, then reached out to sprinkle just a touch of salt on her french fries. "How've you been doing? Tell me all the news from Sharonland."

"Pretty busy as always. Finding enough nurses is still tough at the Claremont, so I'm combining shifts in the ER there with my shifts on the ambulance." Sharon easily summarized, then grinned. "I finally got rid of my old ball and chain though..." She referred to her old preceptor with a wink "... I'm now a fully licensed paramedic."

"Oh wow, congrats!" Bobbi would've toasted her again, but they'd just done that. "That's awesome, Sharon, look at you." She stopped short of saying 'you go girl,' but she really was proud of her friend. That was no small accomplishment indeed. "We should do something to celebrate, not just the two of us I mean."

"Night at Harry's?" Sharon suggested. "A nice cold beer with friends is always good. I'm sure some of the others want to join in." On the table behind them a coffee mug was suddenly slammed into the table and Sharon startled, nearly sending her milkshake flying when she moved to twist around, almost growling at the hapless old man.

"Now you're talkin'," she replied. Not that there was anything wrong with having a meal together, like they were at that moment, but a night at Harry's was always a welcome distraction in Bobbi's book. "Just name the night and I'll be there." She frowned at Sharon's reaction, her eyes darting from her, to the man, then back to her friend. "You sure you're ok, Sharon?"

"Guess I'm jumpier then I thought..." Sharon let out a long sigh. "I'm dealing with some stuff from my army days and I'm not sure how to fix it, so..." She explained hesitantly. "... I don't even think it really can be fixed..."

"Try me," replied Bobbi, taking another sip of her shake. "I mean, you don't have to right here and right now, of course." They were in the middle of a public place, after all, but should Sharon wish to have an ear to listen once they left she could definitely help in that regard.

Sharon let out a long sigh. "Alright..." She allowed. She needed to talk with someone about what had happened in Iraq. "... but not here." Lowering her voice she added. "Most of it is highly classified. Let's finish our food first though."
