Molly, Meggan, JP, and Sharon have arrived as the second group as the first group hadn't checked in. They heard an explosion and rush to investigate. More people have seemingly vanished but others appear

The world felt weird, topsy turvy. Molly expected to see a demogordon somewhere as they made their way through, and totally wished she had a tricked out baseball bat

"This is fun," she said, not sounding terribly enthused.

"Okay, so um....should we look for clues?"

Sharon scanned the scenery around, trying to shift to the state of mind which allowed her to shut out her companions to just focus on everything she was sensing. But the weirdness of the world around her kept it elusive. "I don't think we are going to find any tracks, so maybe we start her work out in a larger circle till we find something that can help us?"

"I certainly have no better ideas," Jean-Phillipe offered. There was something about this place, an itch at the back of the neck or something. Perhaps there was a strangeness with electrical fields, he was not sure. He was certain he did not like it. "We should keep the rest of the group in view, though," he suggested.

“That sounds like the best move,” Meggan added in agreement as they continued moving. They needed to find everyone and not lose track of each other in the process. Things just felt so odd and just plain wrong around here. It was unsettling, but she was just trying to push beyond that sensation and help.

"Hmmm...maybe we could like....lock arms?" Molly offered helpfully. The hallway stretched on and on.

"That way we could--" BOOM!

A loud explosion caught her attention and she tried not to look away from people even if she reallly wanted to.

"Or we could go see what that was?"

"Should work just as well as a place to start." Sharon shrugged and started in the direction, keeping her eyes and ears open. "More likely that the action is there. Would be nice if we could get a look from above though..."

Meggan had jolted with the boom, but now went with the suggestion. “I’ll float on up there and see what I can spot,” she offered as she began to do just that. She was concerned for whoever might have been fighting further ahead. And besides, the ceiling couldn’t do the same wonky effect as the hallway before them and stretch upwards forever, could it? She would have to smack against something solid at some point, right?

"Merde." That explosion sounded like powers usage more than some kind of device, but it was impossible to tell with the way this place seemed to completely ignore the laws of...everything. Jean-Phillipe pointed down the hall in the direction the sound had come from. "Let us see what we can find."

"Yo, okay!" Alex hollered. "That might have been an overreaction, but you saw something too, right?" He asked Julian, almost begging for agreement. "Something big and furry?"

The ringing in Julian's ears made it difficult to hear the question- but fortunately, since he'd come to the mansion he'd been exposed to so many explosions and loud noises, that his ears were used to it. He patted his wrecked hand- damaged in their first encounter with the creature- to his ear and shook his head before replying in what he hoped was a low voice (and making the assumption that the creature had been spotted), "Where did you see it?"

"Just around the corner I think." Alex was already moving forward, heading for where he was sure he'd seen it. "Right?"

Julian was right on his heels, his eyes glowing that vibrant green they got whenever he was pushing himself. The pair stopped at the corner and used the hand signals they'd learned during training to coordinate their move. Counting down from three on his fingers, One last pulse rattled the lockers as Julian and Alex darted forward, Julian going wide and holding both hands up, ready to hold the beast while Alex blasted it.

"Woah, woah woah," Stephen held his hands up in a surrendering position, dark eyes twinkling with relieved laughter, "god you guys have no idea how glad I am to see you. Wait..if you're here...that means you got dragged into this too?" The relief in Stephen's eyes skittered away, replaced by concern and worry. "You guys got pulled in too? Do you remember anything about when you got pulled in?" This wasn't a rescue, not from Julian's reaction, they were in even more trouble than he'd thought.

Lowering his hands, Julian looked across the faces of the students. The Gen X mentor knew Stephen had been having trouble dealing with others getting hurt protecting him, so- putting on a brave face- Julian shook his head and gave a shrug, "We were here anyway- don't worry about it. Is anyone hurt?" The lockers rattled again as another teekay pulse flitted down the hallway, and somewhere in the distance, the creature bellowed.

Molly held up her hand. "Actually---We're here to rescue people!" she said brightly with an encouraging grin to Stephen.

"The first group that came to find you guys disappeared so we're the cavalry. Y'know, with less horses and more punching."

She glanced them over. Two was better than none, right? Totally glass half full.

"We were looking for clues when we heard your boom."

Sharon quickly eyed the new people who had joined them, scanning for obvious injuries. "Alright..." She called, stepping forward. "Is there anyone who needs patching up while we figure out what our next step is? And who are we still missing?"

Xavin gave a head shake. No injuries, just sore and disorientated and the bubbling sense of terror that none of them would ever get home underpinning everything. "We're missing Rahne and Nica and Clea right now."

Jean-Phillipe scanned around. "Everyone keep an eye on each other." He was starting to feel a bit...useless in this place. There had been no sign of whatever it was that was causing all the problems, and no matter what, there were still people missing.

"It's going to be a bit hard when we're fighting that." Maya had spotted the bear headed down the hallway at them at a run, and she took the opportunity of their suddenly being adults around to do what she did best, hide behind them and let them deal with the weirdness. "Just, kill it already."

How did one kill an evil demonish type of thing in bear form? Meggan wondered as she caught sight of it. This situation was out of her realm of knowledge. “If we’re not all together if it dies, does that make a difference?” She asked out of concern. It was, unfortunately, a vague argument for not killing yet even if they fought, really, when she thought it over. Would the missing be stuck here if the bear died? Or would they be flung to another part of the world? Or would they be at the school?

Miles shrugged. "No damn clue. Every time we've fought it, it ran away after a few minutes. It's kind of a wimp, actually. Strong. Like, I can't punch it to hurt it, but still afraid of us putting up a fight."

Alex scanned the halls, then looked back at the group. "Okay, so first we find...... uh, are we missing people?"

Stephen span around, his eyes wide with concern as he counted the team left, "...you're right, we're three down..." he let out a sigh, despair dancing across her eyes, "Sharon, Molly and Meggan, where'd they go!"

Julian slapped his hand against his palm and sighed, making sure to keep the fingers spread to maintain a sight-line with the group. "Alright. We can't fight it...we can't run...maybe the idea to get the glue and repair the artifact shouldn't be plan-f anymore." In the distance, the creature bellowed, "I'm open to ideas."

Jean-Phillipe grimaced. They had found some, only to lose others. This strange place was very much starting to wear on him. "There is an artifact? Oui, we should be working on that, then. Otherwise the only plan I have is to electrocute things."
